not that I should disbelieve this, but it seems like eons since I read a portion of this series when they were originally printed in 'Heavy Metal' - but is this really coming out in March??

Well, Image Comics tend to be late, so I would guess this will actually come out in April or May, but I haven't seen anything saying it is canceled, so I would assume it's still on.

Saw Berni for the first time at a little convention here this weekend, and I asked what they (his wife was there) had coming up, and they didn't mention anything about this Freakshow.
They did mention how most of Berni's work today is film conception work (Spiderman, Edgar R. Burroughs, ect). He even had several portfolios of his originals there, with a few finished paintings as well as a buttload of illustrations. It was freakin' fantastic to see them. They were for sale, but a little out of my league, heh. So if you were wondering just what the heck he's been up to lately, there ya go.
It's was great to see Berni. Of all things we talked about beer the most (they share a similar love for good good independants as I do), and he signed all my Swamp Things and various House of Secrets, Creepy Magazines, Chamber of Darkness, etc.
