I'm hoping this doesn't turn out to be another let down like the Hush storyline in Batman. The second-to-last issue had a shock ending that packed a wallop but the next issue totally shot it down.
I smell red herring.

I'm really digging this series! I love that the JLA has "dirt" under its nails and that some of the dirt has to do with such an obvious problem.
I'm also hoping this issue was a "Red Herring".
