Is there a sequel to this book? My wife swears she saw one in a book store. If there is a sequel, does nayone know what it's called and/or who wrote it?

I've never heard of a sequel. Loved the book though.

I remember reading Earth Abides in High School. Never heard of a sequel. How about doing a web search...Earth Abides sequel/

Google was no help, but usenet was. I posted something to rec.arts.sf.written, and people replied that hwile there was no sequel, publishers just love to slap phrases like "The successor to Earth Abides" on their post-apocolyptic books. So that's probably what my wife saw.

Earth Abides was really cool. , any sequel would have really been a totally new book about a post apocolyptic world.
