I'm currently reading Anne Rice's "The Feast of all Saints". So far so good, but i have a lot to read. There was made for TV movie about it that came on Showtime a coupel of years back. But missed it. So instead I searched hi and low for the this book.

The book is set in 19th-century New Orleans. The book captures lives of the gens de couleur libre, or the Free People of Color caught between the worlds of white privilege and black oppression.

Just finished "Gardens of the Moon" by Steven Erikson.

With George RR Martin, one of my favorite fantasy writers.
