Redwall - Brian Jacques!

I was in 5th or 6th grade and he came to the library for a signing... very cool as I really enjoyed the books when I was younger. He must be getting up there in age...hope he's doing well.

I did the first proofread of the book, and to do that, I had to compare the newly typed text with the original. It was a real thrill, getting my hands on the original. I insured it for $1,000 when I mailed it back to the owner.

I have just one signed Stephen King, the limited edition of The Stand (the one in the box).

I also ordered The Ground Beneath Her Feet by Salman Rushdie online when it was released and put it on my bookshelf when I got it in the mail. Several months later, I picked it up and started reading...and 2-3 days after that, I finally noticed that the darn thing had an autographed bookplate!
