Robert McCammon's "Speaks the Nightbird" to be released by Pocket Books in September
Great book, but until now has had a rather limited release (15,000) from a small press publisher, River City Publishing. In September, Pocket Books will be releasing a mass market paperback (possibly in two volumes due to the size of the book), thus allowing more expense conscious and mainstream readers the chance to enjoy the book. Pocket will also be reissuing Gone South, Mystery Walk, and Usher's Passing.

I concur, Mutley. This is a great story - a must read! Glad to see it was successful enough to go mass-market. Also, great to have McCammon back where he belongs - writing.

Yep, sadly, RedLiver is correct.
But, just perhaps, just maybe, this mass market release will produce a new slew of loyal, rabid fans who will persuade Robert to start up again, either by sales or requests, or both. Or if not that, at least to persuade him to publish that second book that was never published (I forget the name).
We can hope.
