Book Suggestions?
I havent read much but stephen king in the past couple of years... that and Chuck Phalichankpluk. Any suggestions?
A few of my favorite books have been:
The Stand
Choke
Johnny Got His Gun
don't know if that will help. any suggestions? Looking for something fresh that i will enjoy reading, but may also stimulate da brain. any suggestions are welcomed!

There used to be a nice resource for music lovers that worked on the "if you like this you'll also like this" principle. I think a version of the Similarities Engine still exists somewhere.
Wouldn't it be great if there was something like that for books!
In the meantime perhaps:
a) moorehed can name half a dozen more books;
b) anyone who has particularly liked one or more of his choices could state what else they have enjoyed in the past five years!
One would guess that the more of his choices have been favourites of yours the better the match so stating your "score" would also assist....
.... I've not read any of the three cited so far
