Anyone know when Book 10 of the Wheel of Time will come out?
It's been ~15 months since Winter's Heart came out in November 2000 and it'll probably be at least another 9 months, but does anyone have a guestimate?
Just curious, how many of you think he's going to die before he finishes the series? He's ~54 years old, there's at least 2-3 books left for the series (more if he milks it), and it's taking him ~2 years to write each new book. He could be in his 60s before he starts writing the last book.

I'm finding book 9 is really dragging along. I'm only a quarter of the way through it (just picked it up), but the story has REALLY slowed down. I don't like the direction his writing is taking.

A guess from a FAQ....
It is way too early for anybody to know that, including Robert Jordan himself, I'm sure. The best we can do is to guess, based on the time intervals between previous books. The last few books all came out roughly 2 years apart, so Book 10 will probably come out around 2 years after Book 9. So, late fall 2002. That is just a guess, though.

goto www.wotmania.com , they have some info as to Book 10 might come out.
As for someone mentioning about bk 9, i think that it was a much better book than book 8. In book 9 we finally have some major resolutions, book 8 just felt like a "filler" book that was used to quickly forward the story.

I looked at this lately, couldn't find a word on it. I'm looking forward to it for many reasons, the first being things are falling into place. I figure the series will end at 11, and I really hope it does, its been dragging on too long and the farther it goes, the more you hate the caracters.
