Can someone explain to me what I just read?

Was it in your native language?

That's very odd, the subject should've been "I just finished reading The Long Walk by Stephen King", but the last part didn't show up. Anyway, I'm not sure I got it.

I read that one a long time ago. They walk and walk and walk and it's some kind of a contest, right? The boys who have troubles along the way get killed, right?

Yeah, 100 boys start walking. If you fall below 4 mph, you get a warning, three warnings and they shoot you.

I'm not sure I got it after I read it either. I don't think there's much there to be got, actually. At one point they were going to make it into a movie, with Wil Wheaton as the lead, if I remember correctly.

Good thing they didn't, it really doesn't lend itself to an exciting movie. The only walking would've been the audience, out of the theater.

Yeah, I think that's why it never got made. This was after Running Man came out, and I think they were basically going to change the entire story around like they did with that movie and turn the premise into something with a plot.

Glad they didn't, that would've been a loser for sure.
