Does anyone here read her stuff? I always say I'm going to but never get around to getting her books.
Where should I start with her?

She writes Science Fiction with an apprently different slant.
Octavia is a Black woman and I think she's a "feminist" so from what I understand her characters are strong Black females.

I don't think all her main characters are strong black females; just females.
I read Survivor by her; good strong story (yes, the lead was female) about a group of colonists who stumble into a civil war. They have to choose which side to become involved with; or perhaps to go back & claim failure. One of the native groups manages to enslave the colonists; it's a slightly suspenseful story.

Yeah , I wasn't sure if they were all Black chicks. But that's why I posted. To hear from others who've read her stuff.
