There's also an oversized illustrated Discworld book that came out recently. It's a totally new story.
It's called "The Last Hero". I bought it a few months ago, but haven't had time to read it yet.

My partner and i are both huge discworld fans - too bad we can't make it out there to meet him and get something signed. She actually even has a Granny Weatherwax tattoo (one of Paul Kidby drawings). My fav book of all of his is Carpe Jugulum btw

Too bad we can't afford Thud as well - the discworld boardgame looks hilarious.

OK- I had to dig-up this old thread.

I got about 3/4s of the way through the Discworld books and decided to take a break about a year ago. Now in the library I pick up a new Discworld book, and find there are like 6 more books than there were before!

How many books a year does Terry crank out? The quality of the books must degrade if he keeps writing so many.

Is he like Stephen King now, where his fingers only stop touching the keyboard to eat?

Man, this thread is 4 years old and I haven't posted in it yet??? - tsk tsk tsk...

I have always been a big Discworld fan, and I haven't really seen any quality problems with the later ones, but then I am not the most critical person...

Back in November 2003, I read The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, The Wee Free Men, Thief of Time, and Monstrous Regiment and enjoyed all of them.

Don't know if this goes out on the live webcast but Mort - episode one of four - currently is airing on BBC Radio 4.
