If it was bound in real leather, I'd buy it.

Did this ever come out, previously, as a Region A release?

But, yeah, that price is a big nope.

Yes it did- but never the extended 5 minute longer cut and had 0 special features on that BR release!- Very worth it to me.
To each his own-

Indeed, to each their own. I'm sure I spend a stupid amount of money on stuff many people wouldn't care about.

I'm hoping we get another Wolf Creek movie. I know it was supposed to happen, but there were delays due to Covid19 as well as Jarratt's legal issues. Possibly another series, as well.

Re: Wolf Creek Ultimate Ed. 2 disc lenticular

It was one of my favorite horror movies at one time but haven't seen it in forever.

If it was a 4K version, I would probably spring for it. I know if I ordered this then a 4K version would be announced soon after.

Yeah, only a 4K release would get me springing that much money for Wolf Creek. One of the most underrated horror franchises.

Damn, didn’t realize that the RF Studio Canal SB I have is…gulp…..MPEG-2 encoded. Love the first one but only 4K at a pocket friendly price for any consideration

Re: Wolf Creek Ultimate Ed. 2 disc lenticular

Like I said to each his own. I know and see most on the forum are “ 4k” adamants… for me, besides just seeing the market share of media is still led by dvd, I have So many blu ray titles, that I have seen friends have on 4k, and sorry just not that much difference at all to me! Maybe if I was able to spend $$$$ on huge system/Oled tv etc.- but take Avatar collectors Blu ray… it looks 3D everytime I watch it. Got the new HO 1000 corpses… again amazing transfer and looks almost dimensional to me. To have a version of the film I like on blu ray, not available till now , yet not on 4k, and wait to spend more on a transfer I just do not see as will be much difference… sorry nah- but again each his own.

Re: Wolf Creek Ultimate Ed. 2 disc lenticular

Don't get me wrong, smurrlock. I appreciate the post. I am just at a point now where I have extremely limited my physical media purchases and if I am going to buy something nowadays, it has to be the best quality period.

I can typically find almost anything in HD quality streaming-wise. But for me to actually add it to my collection, it has to be 4K at this point (at least for films).

Plus, nothing chaps my ass more than buying a blu-ray and then seeing a 4K announcement not much later.

I barely have time to watch the stuff I own now and I have drastically pruned my collection over the last several years.

But again, your post is appreciated!

Agreed, appreciate the post regardless of the insane price.
I'll stick to my HD DVD copy, though.

Re: Wolf Creek Ultimate Ed. 2 disc lenticular

Just a comment on the “Unrated” version which I had never seen. As reported extra 4-5+/- minutes mostly character related… I found it helped quite a bit when the sh*t hit the fan as you knew the kids a little better. Just IMO-
transfer is excellent btw-
