Table 2) Most Units Sold During Clearance Sale. Lawman became the first Title to sell 800 units last week and this week is approaching 900 and selling out. Three Coins in a Fountain is rapidly going to overtake it and likely will become the 1st 1000 unit sell. I thought Bandolero might be that item, but Three Coins just keeps selling large batches at a time (and has a bit higher final ceiling) every few days while Bandolero is one of the more consistent titles.

After Wednesday's painfully slow day, it appears the resellers my be picking up again as groups of 5/10 units of several titles seem to sell at the same time rather than a few units of random items. From 80 unit Wed, it jumped back to about the average daily low 200's on Th and Fr and already 270 since 3am ER. Another 40-50 total today will put it back to the best day in over 2.5 weeks

Note: this discounts WILD IN THE COUNTRY which had 'sold' 420 units, but Saturday approx 110 units were added back to the available discs. Technically it sold -110 units today and around 315 overall. Eventually that will sort itself out, but for now it's gets left off.

Not really sold out, but just kind of GONE.
Mid afternoon I was actually on the site updating numbers and suddenly THE CHASE and BOBBY DEERFIELD became "Unable to process '[MOVIE]' in your order, remove this item from your cart." There were 61 and 140 units available seconds before, then the whole listing disappeared and the link in my Wish List just shows ERROR 404 -- the normal Wishlist item is still there, but the link goes nowhere (like April Love and Whirlpool though those did sell out at least twice before the site zapped them). This is completely different that an item that sells out does so 200 Units ofr inventory has now disappeared.

Not sure if those two are now history or if IT will restore them at some point, but the older two items still haven't returned to their normal archive page even 10 days later

Somewhat of a milestone. Finally every title is under 1000 units available. Mother Wore Tights was the last holdout and dropped to 999 units last night.

BOBBY DEERFIELD also returned to the list with the same number it disappeared with Sunday, but as noted with a $6.95 price. THE CHASE is still MIA, but I'd
expect it to reappear in the next couple days

I thought the price looked different, but originally thought it was my memory playing tricks.

This based on the fact that some items come back in stock and what people have posted online. You can only cancel a complete order and not individual items in an order.

There have been a few items come back in stock though it seems to be the same 4-5 items over and over with mostly a couple discs at a time. You'd think if that was cancelled orders the titles would be a bit more varied.

Bobby Deerfield seems to be something different. While it's possible somebody might have bought 60 untis of THE CHASE, I doubt anyone bought 140 copies of Deerfield even with Pacino on the cover.
Normally sold out items still have their pages active while several titles just had the pages completely nuked though only THE CHASE and for a couple days BD hadn't previously sold out.


EDIT And odd things just keep happening.

The Quiet American appears to have sold 45 copies in an hour and now list OOS at TTM. At least this listing is acting like a normal sold out title and not just showing up Error 404.

OTOH, as good a movie as it is it just doesn't seem to be a title that someone would buy as a 50 unti bulk purchase

FWIW: QUIET AMERICAN, THE (1958) and THE CHASE (1966) have now returned to the TTM order page exactly where they left it -- 45 and 61 units

ANASTASIA (1956) has also risen from the dead with 42 copies now available at TTM

Bobby Dearfield price has risen back to $11.95 from $6.95. So was a pricing error they corrected.
