Wow, I'm impressed. But if you're trying to save money this year and not splurge on stuff you don't need, it's understandable.

I spent a little over $500 this year, but about $200+ was actually gifts for people and not just buying shit for myself.

As I mentioned elsewhere (the dvd forum?) I'm holding out hope for Kino's December sales. Other than that, this was a very weak one for me.

Yes. And no. I mean, I'm always trying to save money, but now with all the new streaming apps (and Warners' one on the way), it's more a question of what I really want to own on 4K. This year, most of the stuff that was discounted, I either (a) already owned (like The Shining and John Wick 3) or (b) didn't see myself watching more than once (like Aquaman and Shazam).

However, once again, Black Friday trumps Cyber Monday on almost every website. In other words, never wait hoping a better offer is coming on Monday.

Just "Avatar: The Last Airbender - Complete Series" from Amazon for $20.

I only nabbed 3 but that's mostly due to me buying more throughout the year negating BF. (i.e. Aquaman, Spider-verse, Shazam, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, etc.)

This year was my biggest "Haul" ever...really enjoy 4K...giving me the best Home Theater experience ever.
-Could not find 4 of the movies above in BB/Target...but it was the first time I went into the stores with a list.

May not buy another 4K for a few months, got just about everything I was looking for.

So Amazon sent me a copy of Star Trek that was a Best Buy return (still had their return sticker with bar code on it). Case was busted and only had the blu ray second disc and was missing the 4k.

Everything else I ordered was very smooth from Amazon and Deep Discount

Amazon is really being slow on the Brooks. I ordered it 5 days ago, & it's been sitting 30 miles from me (per Amazon's tracking) in 2 fulfillment warehouses ever since. I have Prime, but the Brooks did not have the 1 day guarantee. The site still shows it as supposed to be delivered today; I got an email that said delivery had been changed to tomorrow.

I've had three Amazon orders that were supposedly out for delivery, delivery by 8 pm, that morphed into "sorry, will take a little longer..." All BF titles.
I had one order from Barnes & Nobel that was out for delivery and then went completely missing. I ended up getting a chargeback for it after several weeks.

I had an Amazon UPS order that due to UPS ran a week late earlier in the year. Even though it wasn't there fault, Amazon offered a $30 credit. The USA store is really good about offering courtesy credits. I usually don't have to ask. I've been told for the $5 late 1 day Prime credit, I do have to ask. The UK store doesn't even apologize for errors anymore; much less offer any credit.
