The Garbage Pail Kids Movie 4k for 40 dollars?! No. If it makes it to under twenty ... perhaps. Added to my wish list.

I'm sure it will make it to one of VS subscriber sales at that price point.

Hamilton Book is adding some great items lately but I prefer loading up on sub $10 actual clearance items, for more regular priced things like VS/Severin/Shout I will just wait for a sale over there.

Hamilton certainly doesn't always 'beat' prices, but they almost always beat standard shipping costs! My buying these days is of the I don't need to buy anything variety, so for pretty much everything I can take it or leave it unless I get a wild hair.

I have been ordering a ton of stuff from Hamilton Books. At first, several years ago, it was mostly Marvel and DC collections (trades and hardcovers), but then I got around to checking out their Blu Rays (and DVD's for things not on Blu Ray) and found a ton of good to great stuff at fantastic prices.

Looking forward to tomorrow's new titles and hopefully some price drops on titles that I'm on the fence about or the prices are just too high for my interest level in those specific titles.

I might make my first order from them. Found 3 UHDs for $40. I like the flat $5 shipping rate. No chasing a certain minimum for free shipping.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome. I typically order 8-12 titles at a time. If I have fewer titles to order it's a lot easier to deal with just a flat $5 than trying to make some minimum order amount (and buying a title or two that I'm not really sold on, but getting because it's cheaper to add the extra title than to pay for the shipping).

The one thing that irritates me about Hamilton is that I haven't gotten a shipment notification twice this year. And when I finally e-mail them the order gets here before they can respond. But as faults go I can live with that one since the orders typically arrive in a week or so.

Just when I think I'm a huge movie fan, Adam poats a sale like this with 90% titles that I've never heard of but which are clearly some cultural classic sleeper hit that I've completely missed!

If someone has a recommendation for a "hidden gem" on this list for under $16, I'm all ears!

The Danger: Diabolik UHD or Alone in the Dark Blu-ray at $14.95 each sound good. Or maybe you'd like to try a little movie called Dr. No?
Now that I am poor again these sales have far less appeal to me. My last Hamilton order was two Spanish Language James Bond 3-packs for $3.95 and $5.95 respectively, and that was mid-January. Prior to that was April 1st 2025.

I’ll second Danger: Diabolik and also add The 10th Victim, which is kind of in that same vein. It’s another wild Italian movie, and you’ll (eventually) see its influence on Austin Powers.

There are a couple of Obayashi films in there, if you’re curious about his work beyond the Criterion edition of House. School in the Crosshairs best captures that manic, unhinged energy, while The Island Closest to Heaven and His Motorbike, Her Island are much more grounded and emotionally resonant. (Fair warning that the subtitles for His Motorbike, Her Island are a bit of a mess.)

And if you’re a Grace Kelly fan, The Country Girl is worth picking up for $10.

I wouldn't call it a hidden gem since most didn't like it but I thought it wasn't horrible. The 4k of Downsizing is only $5.95

Fans of Fire Maidens of Outer Space who have only the Olive DVD or BR would be doing well to purchase the Vinegar Syndrome release for ~$14 from Hamilton. It's a good upgrade with better visuals (not as washed out looking with better grain), SDH (not available with Olive), and the special features (also not on the Olive). It's 1.37:1 (the OAR) vs 1.66:1 on the Olive release.

Fans of 50s "B" SF movies who don't own a copy should also consider the purchase. It's "bad" fun.

In order of disappearance for $2.95 is a solid Nordic Noir.

Cut off for $3.95 is a German thriller I enjoyed . Those are a couple that aren’t mentioned as much and can be bought super cheap
