I had one girlfriend years ago I had to hide purchases from because she felt it was her job to tell me how to spend my money

My ex just recently tried to do something similar. She did not care to watch movies from a disc if it came on tv even though she knew parts were usually cut out. She had no interest in my hobby whatsoever. But when she presented what she thought was hers on the ED worksheet she listed movies, video games and systems, the whole nine yards. Outside of Halo, Mario Kart and a couple of other games she never played or showed much interest in those either. But after getting her ass handed to her by the judge in court regarding her walking out and abandoning her daughter she backed off.

Regarding the Watchmen, I own 3 or 4 different releases of it also including the Archie set.

I'm not seeing anything classic other than Laurel & Hardy. Does anyone else see anything I'm missing? I'm not into "action", Anime or slasher horror. That seems to be mostly what's turning up on sales lately. But there may be some I'm missing. Especially into bargains on Olive, Kino, WAC, etc.

Among the last two posts? If we're talking classic Hollywood, there's 12 O'Cock High. There's obviously more on the full website. I recall Mr. Deeds Goes to Town for cheap.

Obviously this isn't what you're looking for, but of possible note to some is the 3d edition of Resident Evil: Final Chapter because that wasn't released in the United States.

Proving the old theory, what's it like to get married? Find a woman you hate and buy her a house.

REC 3 is not my favorite entry of the franchise but it's definitely worth $1.95 on BD.

B: The Beginning - Season One is a great deal at $7.95. It's one of the rare anime releases from Shout Factory. Tense, hard-boiled action thriller made for adults.

I've not see it - but it's from Film Detective who usually does a very good job on their releases.

Pretty decent price cuts. There's some really good deals to had in all tiers, but the niche stuff at 9.99 and above are pretty good values (Shout, Vineager, Fun City, Severin etc..). There are also Kino's at $5.99. I picked up the Bedroom Window at that price point.

2 Questions on the Tubular Bells set if anyone owns it:

1. Does Mike Oldfield play on it?
2. What are the 2.0 audio Sampling & bit rates?

I was sent a review copy which sadly I won't have time to review myself but I checked out the specs for you:

86 minute concert, 1080P video (brief check indicates excellent PQ), and two audio options: 5.1 Dolby Digital and 2.0 Dolby Digital. It's from Cleopatra, who maddeningly enough almost never include lossless audio on their Blu-ray concerts.

I don't believe Mike Oldfield actually performs in the concert, it's kind of like a performance art concert piece with dance performers and a concert orchestra handling his songs. It's a two-disc set, also coming with a feature-length documentary about Tubular Bells and this live touring show.

Might make a second order
Some of those foreign steelbooks look nice and the price is right like Pan. I'm sure I have a USA version disc somewhere in my collection.
Also maybe LEGEND OF BRUCE LEE, VOLUME ONE, and TWO sets of TV series on DVD?

Never heard of coupon codes for Hamilton, maybe someone else knows, as I would be interested in coupons also.

A few over at blueray.com recommend "A Double Life". I just buy most Olives that are priced around $5 to collect dust. :D
