Seeing Wolf Creek 2, which is an awesome sequel, reminds me to find out if the first Wolf Creek ever made it out on BD in a legitimate North American release. The television mini-series should also be put out.

^As far as I know, it never did, which is a shame.

Was thinking about that Space: 1999 set. Looks nice but I have no idea if I would really want to own the show. May stream a few episodes to see. One of those shows from that era that I never watched.

That Space: 1999 set is also available from GRUV for the same price *and* there's a 20% off code ( SIGNUP20 ) plus free shipping. You'll pay sales tax at both.

I went in for The Hobbit 3D’s and steelbooks. I’m prob going to go for some of the Universal Horror collections too, they are cheaper than anywhere else

I'm interested in the extended Hobbit cuts in 3D, but it's disappointing that they don't have all three. Decisions, decisions.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Surprised no one mentioned the Halloween UHD releases above. Can't decide if that is a decent enough deal to bite or wait for a better drop, sale or eventual set release. Any thoughts?

Legend's a great film, but that price is awfully high. I checked & it's Arrow. Apparently Arrow feels they can overprice things based on their brand.............

Legendary Weapons of China is fantastic kung fu from Shaw Brothers. An absolutely essential purchase. Glorious, gravity-defying acrobatics with one of the better stories in a Shaw Brothers' flick.

Might have to get MDMA, a movie we showed at my film festival under it's original title Angie X. I wasn't working that night, but I know we had the lead actress there for a Q&A.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

Monkey Kung Fu is absolutely top-notch Shaw Brothers. There's an opening scene inside a jail which has to be seen to be believed. Incredible kung fu gymnastics and acrobatics without CGI.

That was my introduction to Shaw back in high school. I preordered it on Blu-ray but haven’t had a chance to tear into it yet.

Re: Hamilton Book (Blu-ray Bargains)

I am starting to learn that just because a film is hard to find and is on Olive doesn't mean it isn't garbage. I just watched 2 of the worst films in my life (both Olive): The Delinquents & Guest Wife. My Hamilton Olive Blind buys have been about 50/50 (good/awful).

wow. I LOVED Guest wife! Claudett Colbert, Don Ameche. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.

I like Colbert, I felt the script was really weak.
