Re: Target: : Buy Two Get One Free Movies + More Sunday June 13th - June 19th

Of the discs I had placed in my cart for combinations, over 1/2 went out of stock before I could make a purchase.

Re: Target: : Buy Two Get One Free Movies + More Sunday June 13th - June 19th

I've placed 3 orders totaling 24 titles so far. Probably done with this sale unless someone mentions a title I forgot to get.

Also of note, the new Bond No Time to Die is part of the sale. I included it in one of my orders. $20 for the 4K after discount on release.

Edit: Zack Snyder's Justice League 4K is $19.99 before discount if anyone is interested.

^ That is nice you found a few movies in store. I went by two stores around Sacramento trying to find alita battle angel and Hocus Pocus on 4k and really anything of interest and no luck.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage (Target Exclusive)(Blu-ray + DVD + Digital) $25 is now part of the sale.

https://www.target.com/p/venom-let-t...00#lnk=sametab

Also received all 6 of my movies And I think I'm done with this sale with BF coming up next month.

Re: Target: : Buy Two Get One Free Movies + More Sunday June 13th - June 19th

I'm a bit annoyed with them. A title I ordered went to BO and they notified me with the standard "We wanted to let you know that an item from your order will arrive after your estimated delivery date. We apologize for the delay. You may need to approve the new delivery date. To do this, simply click the button below and see if there's an approve button next to your item. If not, there's nothing else you need to do."

No biggie - it's happened before. I click the link but there's no "approve button" on the order. I've also seen that but plan to check later in the day just in case. I forgot to check and the *very next day* they cancelled the order because I'd not approved the delay (both emails came at 3am). *ONE DAY* after the "check the order" email they cancel! I want the title but figure I'll just pick it up the next time they do the offer as I really don't feel like messing with CS.

Target seems to have devised that entire approval process for canceling orders they can't profitably fulfill. Fairly shady for a major corporation.

Yeah, that does seem like they really don't want to fulfill those orders.

"Oops, your order might ship a little late, so we're going to cancel it immediately."

Most stores want to actually take your money...

I have lost several orders to this game of Target's. They will contend I didn't pay my RedCard, or that I never approved a delay, or that my address could not be found (even when delivering other items from the same order!), etc.

It's frustrating but I deal with it because they honor the 3:2 pricing on the remaining items so it is what it is.

That happened with me last year for the Friday the 13th set. I approved the new ship date twice I believe and then they canceled the order. A week or two later it was back on the site.

These sales seem largely designed to winnow down their existing media inventory. Anyone who has visited a Target recently can see the rapidly shrinking media area.

Considering how rare it is that things wind up back in stock, I'd say you're right. There is so much in my wishlist that has been unlisted for a really long time. I don't expect the vast majority to ever be available there again. As a result, the matching sales at Amazon have started to really suffer as well.

When is the next Target Buy 2 get 1 free sale?

Hello yall. Used to visit the bargain forums a lot more and know in the past some people knew when certain sales were coming months away so I'm asking.

Anyone know when the next Target buy 2 get 1 free will happen that includes books and CDs as well as movies? It's by far the best deal these days and I got quite a few things saved up.

Re: When is the next Target Buy 2 get 1 free sale?

Nobody really knows with Target, but the last couple years they have had a Nov Sale. the exact composition of the sale Books, Music/CD/LP, Games, Movies seems to be a moving target.
Around Presidents Day has been the most predictable sale.
2017 -- only one sale

10/28/2018 - 11/3/2018 (2 sales for the year)

10/27/2019 - 11/9/2019 -- technically 4 sales -- Mid February, late August, and a 3 week sale 9/22 - 10/12

Last year whether COVID related or otherwise had a lot more frequent sales, but also a 1 week sale in Jan, Feb, April, June, Oct, 2 in Nov and a 1 day sale in Dec
10/11/2020 -10/17/2020
11/8/2020 - 11/14/2020
11/22/2020 -11/28/2020

Mostly for BN sales and coupons, but the coupons are virtually nonexistent anymore since the UK company bought and overhauled the store. Even the Member discounts has been
virtually neutered on any sale merchandise. At least the Criterion Sale seems to still happen, but without Gift Card deals and discounts even that sale is blunted unless you prefer to buy in person.

Re: Target buy-2-get-1-free mega-thread

Target B2G1 video games, books, movies, board games starting 11-7-21

Looks like the sale is closely following 2020 going by hariseldon post above.
And I do not believe video games were included in the last month's B2G1 sale.
Now just need their BF ad to leak to see what might be cheaper later on.

B2G1 video games, books, movies, board games, puzzles starting 11-7-21
25% off single toy coupon and 10% military discount will also still be valid.

https://weeklyad.target.com/promotio...0211107&page=1

Excludes select video games / preorders so probably most of the 1st party switch games

This should also work some pleasant surprises on Amazon when multiple offers from multiple retailers are all matched.

Translation: hoping for 3 criterions for $40 (or less) like last year.

Exactly. With the B&N offer also running concurrently and being PM'ed, will be interesting to see how it stacks - its the hunt that's more exciting than the kill, so to speak

I'd be more enthusiastic if my order from the last sale had arrived but thanks to the Postal Service, it's still MIA.

Re: Target buy-2-get-1-free mega-thread

Had trouble even finding three titles this time but ended up with:

Scream UHD
Shawshank UHD
Gattaca UHD

Not the best mix since the highest priced was 24.99 and the lowest was 19.99, but there’s so little on my list that isn’t a preorder right now.

I think Gattaca is supposed to be $9.99 at Best Buy starting Nov. 15. But unless they have it in store and you have to pay for shipping, it's kind of a mute point.
