I would've sprung for the Home Alone paint can set, but I've already got the older set of the first 2 movies and haven't even listened to the commentary on that yet. (I'd like to have the remaining sequels just for completeness, pity they're only on regular DVD. Does anyone know if they at least re-did the 3rd one in 16x9?)

they will run this promotion a few times until the end of the year. and prices were better last year - I bought 20 classics for $4.99 each (after 50% off) last December. The same titles are now 6.50 after discount.

It depends on what you are buying. I don't see FoxConnect lowering the price of the individual X-Files seasons below $18.99 for a while, so $9.50 per season is a spectacular price for those Blu-rays, which aren't even out until December 8.

They seem to have removed the X-Files individual seasons from the sale.

I had a few items in my cart this morning, code worked, and a few hours later...doesn't work. Even the titles shown in their fucking advertisement graphic I got, don't work.

I doubt you'll see the X-Files sets get this cheap at retail for another couple of years. This screams like someone at Foxconnect made a mistake by including them in the sale.

Typical FoxConnect sale. Code worked when I was first enter in my cart. Then I found something I wanted "Nakatomi Plaza: The Die Hard Collection". And I now get Coupon could not be applied for skus in cart error.

If I remember correctly, that sale was on BF proper (11/28/2014) and many of the titles that are normally 6.50-8.00 during 50% off sales were marked down to 4.99, which is less than 1/2 off their discounted price. I know because I had been waiting for a few to drop in price and 5 bucks is my go-to price for catalog titles. The 50% sale from around the same time last year had these titles priced the same as today.


As much as I'd love to get these, I really want the set -- and it will eventually drop to $100 -- or less. I'll wait.

The code will work twice for an account, but only twice. I tried to make a third order to get the remaining M*A*S*H seasons that I'm missing, but it shot me down, saying that I'd maxed out the number of uses for that code on my account.
