The reserve price just just pulls up the MSRP most of hte time. You will pay the current store price when you pick it up - so if you go before the end of business Aug 1 it will be 19.99 minus whatever discounts you can add on (member, coupons etc). The reserve only holds it for 3 days/

If you reserve on July 31 and pick it up you would pay full price since the sale would be over.


The 20% coupon starting Monday looks a bit more official though we won't know how it works until it someone tries it.

She rang it up and it applied with zero problem unless the 15% codes I tried on Saturday (same clerk) with the printed coupon . even without the Criterion exclusion listed, she was going to do the over-ride, but decided to check with her manager first who basically said if the coupon didn't take automatically then no over-ride.



If you're close enough to go back, just hand them the written code and tell them what it's for. This in the past has seemed to be more fruitful for these hit or miss coupons

Regarding whether a coupon will scan or not, it has been my experience that the cashier has to first highlight the item that the coupon is going to be used on and then scan the coupon. If they do this, the coupon will scan automatically. If the cashier scans the coupon without first highlighting the item in their register, then the coupon doesn't go through and they have to manually push it through.

Better -- as a member you could likely get the $8 coupon to work on New World -- just don't give them the coupon, just hand them the code and let them enter it or tell them it's an $8 off One DVD/Bluray coupon. I've not heard of this not working IF the clerk will enter the code.
