Some decent deals but nothing that's really must have. I'll likely do most of my Black Friday shopping on Amazon again this year.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

They sent me the ad in an e-mail, but the pics in those links are a fair bit bigger, thanks.

I've had some interest in Chef, but that's still on the high side. I may well pick up House of Cards S2, Arrow S2, Supernatural S9 and the new Mad Men though, unless they're priced better elsewhere.

Some of the deals on the TV seasons are appealing to me. I'd get Big Bang Theory and Arrow for $10 each.

Not standing in line at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day. Waste of time.

That looks like the dvd version of Arrow season 2, but if it's the Blu Ray as well, hopefully Amazon matches it.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

The Lego Movie with Minifigure is a great deal. Will probably head out to get that and some other shows depending on how Amazon price matches, but will do what I normally do at this point which is head out at later at night. This is usually the time of year where I catch up on TV shows...can usually get seasons for $10 or less.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

I'll be up for "How to Train Your Dragon 2" for $10 and "The LEGO Movie" with the minifigure. Hopefully they'll have it online so I don't need to bother going in the stores (though I have to admit I find BF shopping fun - no way I'm going on Thursday though).

Clicked on the ad - saids its the DVD only for $9.99 - would love for the DVD/Blu-Ray to be that price at Amazon like it was last year.
If not - would pay up to $14.99 for the DVD/Blu-Ray set.

I'll probably grab How to Train Your Dragon 2, or on Amazon if they match it.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

I'm pretty sure they used the wrong pic for The Lego Movie. They had a small Black Friday sale yesterday with a few select items for the Black Friday price, and The Lego Movie was one of them. Except it was the DVD for $9, not the 3D blu ray version.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

Well, it'd only make sense if that was the 3D edition, since I just got the 3D edition from Amazon.uk as they had it for less than the US one, since it doesn't come with the toys and stuff.

I guess I'll pick up the $4 Gravity Blu-Ray while I'm there picking up the $30 booster seat.

They did the same for Catching Fire tho, the ad clearly shows the BD but the one day sale had the DVD.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

Have to admit I'm not seeing much in either BB or Target BF ads that would compel me to sally forth on Thanksgiving evening. I want Big Bang S7, but I can wait. Hope I can find some compelling items on Amazon.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

This year seems like fewer 2014 releases are getting put out as doorbusters. A lot of them are older catalog refuse that have been on repeated sale before.

I was really hoping the Godzilla exclusive would be 9, but it's on sale for 16.79 =/ Still hoping it's 9 in store.

Re: Target 2014 Black Friday Ad

Wish I'd seen this earlier, there were a few things not available online, so I still might end up at Target tonight.

Wanted but unavailable:
The Lego Movie 3D $9
Orange is The New Black $8
Live Die Repeat: Edge Of Tomorrow $6

But I did order:
Mud $6 *
American Hustle $6
Mad Men The Final Season, Part 1 $10 **

* Returning, got Mud for $3.96 at Walmart.

** Also returning, found the Target exclusive with Bonus in store.
