Re: Target deals

I did the chat on the website and they said I would get it, it will ship after the movie ships. I tried to explain that my order details don't mention the gift card so were they sure and they said yes.

I highly doubt I will get it though. I'll try contacting them again after the movie releases and see what happens but I doubt it will work.

Re: Target deals

Based how my orders have looked when getting in on the gift card orders, you will not receive it unless they add it to your order. It's always been itemized on the order with the value of the gift card affecting the disc price so you can't just return the disc and get a free $5.

I saw these on sale for $4 each:

DaVinci Code

Both are the remastered versions.

Is Jason Bourne included in the sale? Prob Suicide Squad, Sully and Magnificent 7 for me.

It usually starts the following Sunday with the idea being that you can spend all the Target gift cards you got.
Looks like I just misremembered the timing or they pushed it back a few weeks this year.

Those are part of the new $5 section. I saw a couple others today that I believe are new such as Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Captain Phillips, and Woman in Gold.

Those two DaVinci titles and Woman in Gold were actually in the $10 section, but with signs that those titles were on sale for $4 -- at least at my Target.

Re: Target deals

There are tons of $10 Blu-ray deals this week at Target and Target.com.

Examples include Sully, Don't Breathe, Suicide Squad and many more. Many are also on sale at Best Buy.

I stopped at Target today and picked up Hell or High Water for $10.

Re: Target deals

Be careful with the Magnificent Seven, it was thought to be ons ale for $10 from earlier reports, but it's the DVD, not the BD.

Best Buy does have the BD for $9.99.

Re: Target deals

I picked up Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children for $10 from my local target...it was the last copy. There were none in the usual entertainment section...the only one was up front behind a 4k copy. Interestingly enough, I scanned the 4k copy too, $26.66. Not only is it a bad omen, that's a god awful price too . That and despite loving Tim Burton, I'm not even sure if I'll like this one. *fingers crossed*. I will say when I went on Sunday at roughly noon, it was already pretty darn picked over (and I had completely forgot about the sale...happened to be there for diapers).

I take it that's in stores only then? Because online it's $14.99.

You should have no problems price matching anywhere though (including Target) since the Blu ray version is pictured in their ad.

Re: Target deals

As expected, the Target I visited this morning had already been heavily picked over. Few items from the $10 sale were left in stock. No Kubo left but dozens of Suicide Squads. I have a feeling WB severely over-pressed Suicide Squad.

Re: Target deals

At Target store I went to, Magnificent 7 does not show up as $10 in their display stalls, and shows regular price only. I brought the ad just in case. Upon check out though, it came out as $10. so no issues at all.

I also picked up Jason Bourne for $12. The copy I had includes a free movie redeemable until 3/31/17. Slim pickings on the movie but it's free for your Vudu. Selection includes:

Reality Bites
Racing Hearts
Airport
Werewolf the Beast Among Us
To Kill A Mockingbird
Fear
Sgt. Bilko
The Scorpion King 3
Death Race 3

I chose Racing Hearts since it's the only one amongst the titles I haven't seen yet that had some good reviews.

Re: Target deals

That's the same selection of titles they've had in EVERY release lately- even with "Secret Life of Pets" which doesn't make much sense being a kids' movie. I've gotten the digital copies of all of those except Airport and To Kill A Mockingbird, and already have those two on disc anyways. (Sgt. Bilko never came out on Blu-Ray, I have the laserdisc so now I've got a moral dilemma choosing which of those to watch.)

Re: Target deals

You have to wonder why Universal is so preciously hanging onto digital HD copies of Scorpion King 1 & 2. Do they think there are a lot of folks still willing to pay full price for those?

Re: Target deals

Hey, so I previously bought 'Secret Life of Pets' and didn't even realize it had a free movie as well. For Bourne, it was actually tagged in the box it came with, which is reason I looked for it. So I'll be able to choose another movie then. Slim pickings, true, but better than nothing.

Re: Target deals

I went Tuesday and am fairly happy. Picked up the Target Exclusive Jason Bourne, Nerve and Hell or High Water, all with slips for $10 (+tax) each. And was able to sell off 2 of the codes already for $3.50 each, bringing the final cost down even more. All are blind buys, hopefully I'll enjoy them.

Re: Target deals

I pre-ordered Jack Reacher: Never Go Back 4K UHD back during Target's 20% off sale during the Holidays.

Looks like it shipped today even though the street date is next Tuesday. Came out to only $19.17 after the discount and I got the $5 e-gift card as well.

How is Target.com's shipping? Since it shipped 5 days early, will it arrive by Tuesday? It says it shipped via UPS.

and for anyone interested, I'm willing to sell the UV code for $4 when I get it in. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Target deals

Here are movies at $4.00 a piece. Most are from the last weeks B2G1 but there are others as well.
