I answered the questions twice, but still not sure how I get the giftcards. Nothing really happened.

The promotion ends in on 11/01 and the giftcards won't be sent out until 11/3. You will then have until 11/15 to use the giftcards.

Offer valid 10/24/14 –11/1/14. Award Cards valid 11/3/14 –11/15/14 except in states where prohibited by law. eAward cards do not expire. Not valid on previous purchases or layaway transactions. Award card valid on future purchases only.

***btw, for those who got in on the personal shopper deal recently, you should have $5 in your accounts that expire tonight. The rewards points were deposited into members accounts on Friday. I went out and spent mine today before they expired.

So that's where those came from? I logged in yesterday for the first time in a while and saw them. Went to the store last night to redeem. I can redeem points at my local store (closing), just can't use coupons or other discounts to combine with the flat percentage off.

I picked up Hunger Games: Catching Fire. For some reason, there were a dozen copies on the shelf with the BD the same price as the DVD ($14.99). The DVDs/BDs are currently marked at 20% off. I was surprised to see the discount at the register ended up being 25% off. With the $5 bonus and a couple of other dollars I had in SYWR credit, picked up the BD for less than $5. Took care of one of my daughter's Christmas gifts.

Re: Sears/K-Mart Blu-ray Deals

They have been really generous to me. I got the five dollar reward card. But also got ten dollars in surprise points on friday. Then they gave me twenty dollars in surprise points to use this week. They are good on everything. They say its my anniversary. I can't understand how they afford it after they reported their last quarterly results which involved huge losses.

is anyone actually buying blu-rays at Sears? Anything I want takes me to a third party where the points don't work

Re: Sears/K-Mart Blu-ray Deals

I bought a bunch of shout factory and Kino MGM BD titles from them. They are better deal when preorders. You have to make sure it is sold by sears. Head to their movie store and choose there. They also have a good deal on some disney animated films like rescuers, emperors new groove, aristocats, and lilo and stitch on BD with free points. I got these and others there.

I also received $20 in points after receiving the $15 giftcard.

Same here, but nothing I really want now. Does anyone know if you can use a Kmart gift card to purchase an Amazon gift card?

For those that are signed up for the SYWR Personal Shopper, you should have $5 in points in your account to use this weekend.

Sometimes they make it hard to figure out where these points are coming from. I received the e-mail indicating $5 off of $35 surprise points expiring 11/26. When I log into my account, I have $5 added to my total and a note about $5 expiring tomorrow.

Edit: The more I look at it, I think these are 2 separate rewards. May not know for sure unless I try to buy something.

I am long overdue in confirming this to be true! And that's given me some great deals. Granted, I could only use those in-store coupons at a location that is 25 minutes away, so I've only taken advantage of them a couple of times when I'm going in that direction for something else.

I picked up 2-3 sets of these coupons initially, and really regret not grabbing a bunch more (I first noticed them in a stack near a register) to at least make available to folks here. The fine print has lots of exclusions including black and white copies of the coupon being prohibited.

Those are separate rewards. There is the $5 in bonus points from the personal shopped deal that is good towards anything and then there is the $5 off $35 which probably has some exclusions(grocery, health, beauty, etc). I received one of each of these in my account. I have yet to receive an email letting me know about the $5 personal shopper rewards bonus as it just shows up without notification. I have a deal alert over at SD that lets me know whenever there is a deal/thread regarding this.

Same here. The wife and I checked out a store last night that started the closing procedure in late Sept/early Oct. I made a purchase of a couple of things and the cashier gave me a bunch of coupons stapled together of the same ones mentioned in the post you quoted. She only had one set there, but I would have asked for more if she had some out there.

One of the best deals in the stack of coupons was the one year SYWR max membership for .99. It will not help with shipping much as the online site can be just as bare as their store inventory. But it gives an extra $3 a month in points.

Re: Sears/K-Mart Blu-ray Deals

For those that signed up with the Personal Shopper a little ways back, check your accounts as you should have $5 in points that expire on 12/15.

Also, I was at my local Kmart last night and noticed a bunch of coupons at Customer Service and at some of the cash registers for $10 Back in Points when you spend $10 or more. It is an online only coupon that can be used at Kmart.com, Sears.com and ShopYourWay.com. Not sure if it can be used on movies, but it may be worth checking out.

Valid dates are 11/21-12/25. And these were on a tear pad, but shouldn't be hard to miss as they are quite large in size. There is a large ad on the same side of the coupon for "5% Back in Points" and an advertisement for "Free 2-Day Holiday Shipping" on the other side.

Re: Sears/K-Mart Blu-ray Deals

More Personal Shopper points applied this weekend($3) and are good through Monday(1/26).

Also possibly worth mentioning, I noticed a coupon on a copy of The Equalizer dvd for $5 off either the BD or dvd yesterday. Valid through 1/30/15. Not sure how much the BD is in store as that particular store only had the dvd. I noticed Best Buy and Target both have it for $14.99 this week. Not sure if it would be possible to pm either of these and use a coupon though.

Thanks. Never would have known they were there without this heads up. With my closest store closing, the deals for me have all but dried up. I log into my SYWR account every so often, but hadn't been receiving any surprise points/offers lately. Well, nothing that motivates me to buy anything. I did get a $7 off of $35 purchase offer a few days ago.

Anyone able to use surprise points on BDs lately? Last week I had $10 to use, and it wouldn't work on a BD at kmart.com or sears.com

Are you sure your not choosing a third party seller? I have used them recently if sold by sears. They have a search problem on their site that only brings up third party sellers at times. You have to go to the movie section and directly search in a special search area there.
On the following link, there is a lower search area that works right.

Thank you! I bought The Interview. It is $13.49, free shipping with my MAX trial (otherwise 99 cents), and I had those $3 PLUS $7 in free bonus points from FitStudio (which I have never used, other than signing up a few months ago). So I paid $2.26 shipped! Off to cancel my Amazon order now...

Nope, they were definitely by sears, it even showed up as free shipping with Shop Your Way Max. I actually just checked (it turned out I have another $10 to use!) And I just tried this: Airheads and it's not working, yet I put a non-BD in my cart and the $10 comes off.
