For $29.99 and bonus content, I consider this is a really good deal on GoT S3. They had the same price on S2 at release with exclusive content.

Yeah, but last year's content seemed to be fluff. This bonus disc sounds substantial. As much as I'd like a Stark slipcover, I'm getting this instead.

Wondering if I should buy the third season and hold on to it for Game of Thrones, I haven't watched an ep but something this popular has to be good (and I have read raving reviews about it). How good of a blind buy is this? I'm also thinking it's prob not going to go under $30 within the next year.

Yeah there's no way I'll start with GOT S3, just didn't know if I should buy now something I won't use for a long while, but looking at the prices of the other two, it's prob not even going to cheaper for years than the $30. Bit on Amazon.

The blu-rays of GOT are terrific, and the extras really help make the show easier to follow, -each episode features a pop-up guide that you can access that explains the location of each scene, the back-story and family tree of each character in a particular scene, as well as various historical incidents that are pertinent to that scene. Since so much of the books had to be extensively edited to make the series viable (in the way that HBO wants to provide it), all that extra detail is just invaluable and makes the series far more enjoyable to me than when I watched the first season as it originally aired.

They're matching Target prices for the week. No need to hurry.
