Ha, I was able to get Monsters U for $10.96 and both of the Game of Thrones at $20. Had to set up two tabs for Thrones, but well worth it
. I think I only have one more title to get today, and then peace out!

I joined the waitlist for the BD/DVD combo of MU long after it was "sold out" and was still able to get it. It said there 500+ but after only 5 minutes or so I received the offer.

I already have Game of Thrones, but I put Walking Dead S3 in my cart despite getting distracted and not checking the deal till 8:28. I've already seen the season though so am debating whether I really need it for 19.99. I liked the first half of the season quite a bit but don't anticipate rewatching it a lot.

I managed to get both seasons of Game of Thrones as well, the price didn't update in my tabs so I just did add to cart from the lightening deal page. Saved me a trip of going to Bestbuy and seeing if they had any left for 20.

Do NOT click on the item to go to the product page. Click on the Add to Cart button right from the LD page.

Caught this late, but I was able to get Game of Thrones Season 1 off the waitlist. On the waitlist for Season 2, as well as Monster's U too.
EDIT: Season 2 opened up for me. Bought! Wasn't expecting to buy any more blu-ray's, but couldnt resist. Having Amazon Prime helps.

I know everyone isn't able or willing, but Prime is almost a must-have for this annual LD chase on Amazon. No cart price minimum for free shipping.

Ugh, well the last one I wanted was the Mass Effect blu-ray, but at $14....I don't think so. $10 would have been a shoe-in.

If you're planning on getting the Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary Blu, it's the same transfer as the 70th Anniversary Blu. WB did a new 8K transfer for the 3D conversion, but didn't do anything for the 2D.
If you have a 3D TV, you can watch the new transfer in 3D or 2D, but if you don't have a 3D TV, you're stuck with the old transfer.

In case people haven't noticed, Island of Lost Souls Criterion BD is now on tomorrow's LD list. Perhaps they'll actually do it this time, and not remove it again...

Picked up A Good Day to Die Hard to round out my collection. Haven't seen it and heard it kinda sucks. But what the hell, 'tis the time to make impulsive/irrational purchases

Amazon yanked the Bond 50 set that was supposed to be a 3:20 am (DC time) Lightning Deal. I find the way they've handled the BF week scheduling to be extremely frustrating. Was having a calendar too convenient so they had to make shopping more annoying?

Re: Amazon Countdown to BF Week - Lightning Deals Calendar
Since Die Hard was brought up, are they ever going to release the unrated version of the 4th on Blu? Or did I miss when they did?
I have yet to complete my set with the last 2 movies and have been content with the first 3 on DVD that I got a few years ago...but if the 5th film was the final one, I would assume there will be some "definitive collection" or something similar at some point on Blu that I will likely hold out for.
