Does anyone know what the price on the 11/29 Monsters University lightning deal is going to be? Debating going to Target on my way home tomorrow, but I'd rather not.

Django Unchained Blu-ray is going to be $9.96 for the Lightning Deal...but it's $9.99 right now. Why wait?

Does anyone who has actually seen Arrow or Revolution have an opinion on them? The deals look great but I never really heard anything about those two shows.

Re: Amazon Countdown to BF Week - Lightning Deals Calendar
I am sooooooooooooooo bored of people who believe the only thing that affects prices is "greed." It's as if they know nothing about economics and/or were miseducated to hate capitalism.
Greed - you keep saying that word but I do not think it means what you think it means. Also, if they were truly getting lazy, someone could come along and challenge them like how Facebook wiped out MySpace.
But they sell out quickly despite "no one" liking the offers.
The first increase in over 10 years. Inflation isn't just for love dolls.
Here's a map of where they currently collect tax, where they will in the future and where they aren't:

I count 17 states currently collecting tax, meaning the other 40 states aren't. (Heh.) Besides, they aren't "charging," they're collecting for the states. Want lower taxes? Cut the size of government.
That's if you buy only one. Buy five and it's $8 for everything. It costs money to pack and ship stuff. Amazon should do it for free?
If they're losing customers, they will change or die.
How is it "greed" to make a return for your investors? If you owned stock in Amazon, wouldn't you want them to turn a profit or would you be happy losing your investment because they adopted a "No profits because it makes economically illiterate people sad" policy? Besides, Amazon ISN'T profitable. All those warehouses and stuff costs $$$$ and they aren't returning much to investors despite huge sales numbers.
Piss-poor BF sales,
combined with the free-shipping increase to $35,
combined with charging tax in nearly every state,
I count 17 states currently collecting tax, meaning the other 40 states aren't. (Heh.) Besides, they aren't "charging," they're collecting for the states. Want lower taxes? Cut the size of government.
combined with $3.99 shipping charged on DVDs...
No thanks. I hope many other customers are saying "No Thanks!" also.
It's not about being 'entitled' but about being screwed-over by Amazon's greed on appeasing their stockholders.

I know this is not a music thread but will there be a discount for Pearl Jams latest album Lightning Bolt or a thread on CD bargains?

Right Now Pacific Rim is $9.99 and I wonder will the price revert back to $9.99 after 10:20pm Thurs or go back up to $24.99?

I pulled the trigger on both PR and ZDT at $7.99.. I'll probably be around for both the PR and ZDT lightning deals later this evening. If so, I'll buy both and then cancel this initial order. But in the off chance I forget the LDs, I still have both movies at a discounted rate. I just lose $4.
No pressure. I can live with that.

How do people take advantage of these lightning deals when they are scattered throughout the day? If you want several different lightning deals, how can you combine them to get to the free shipping minimum? Otherwise, it seems kind of dumb to pay shipping for each individual lightning deal

You can't.. You only have 15 minutes to complete the LD purchase.
These instances are why one should purchase Prime.
