The media section really is dwindling at some of their NYC stores — starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel on catalog releases that they actually stock!

X-Men Trilogy - $15 (great price!)
X-Men First Class - $5
Insomnia - $5
Mean Girls - $5
Casino - $7 ... although I guess this wasn't U&S!

IMHO, its kinda silly to have two threads for basically the same thing. I know one is for the haul and one is talk about it, but is anybody really only reading one thread or the other? I'm clicking on both and I'm pretty sure i have overlapped at some point.

i actually am loving the list thread just bc i have gotten so many great suggestions that i have followed through on, but it doesn't matter to me anyway. i think i am done with spending, so you can merge if you see fit.

I don't think the 2 separate threads are that big of a deal. I like being able to go through the lists, and it is a little easier with a thread devoted to them.

I ran into an employee who was too "important" to do a price check for me. He offered me help twice, so I asked for it. The scanners that customers can use have not been working my last two trips to BB. Always a great place to shop!

The only thing is that a fair number of people are posting their hauls in here. I did get two 'reports' about the overlap with these threads. I don't have a strong preference either way, although I don't want to keep having to move posts out of this thread and into another.

I went to a Best Buy I hadn't visited yet during this U&S and couldn't find two titles that are showing in-stock online. Will probably try another Best Buy later in the week.

Ask an employee to look it up for you. This happened to me the other day and it turns out two copies were "in the back." He brought one out to me.

I had assumed everything was on the shelf, especially when they have 50 copies of The Amazing Spider-Man, but I guess that's not always the case.
