Does anyone know if it will be cheaper in-store at Walmart like Peter Pan was?

Was that for the 3D set? Mine was.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph release week pricing

4 disc 3D Version was $29.96, two disc $24.96 at the Walmart in Germantown, WI.

Had them match the Target ad for the 3D version at $27.99 - $7 coupon.

Can't wait to watch this one this morning.

However, I'm not a fan of the "stacker" cases or whatever they are called. The 4 disc set has 2 discs on each hub. I hope Disny does not do that with their classic animation stuff going forward.

They did that with Frankenweenie too so i am guessing that's just how they're going to package all their crap. I haven't opened Monsters Inc 3D yet to confirm...

No problems using the $7 off coupon today at Target on the 2-disc version. It scanned right away, and didn't even have to be input manually.

However, you need to make sure they're processed in this order:

1. Price match (will require manager override/approval)
2. RZ certs (BEFORE they hit the total key for the transaction)
3. Manufacturer's coupon (AFTER they total the transaction)

If you try to apply the RZ certs after the total's been pressed, or after the manufacturer's coupon, it will require the manager to come back and void the transaction, and they have to start over from scratch.
Worked like a charm. $3.50 out the door. No issues at all.

Thanks Todd.

Same here, ridiculously easy...oh and they had the slipcovers still on, at least mine did. Though the chickie almost tore it when she took it out of the plastic thing. But it's fine, already inspected it and no worries.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph release week pricing

Went to BB. Picked up the 4 disc version for $18 and change after coupons and $5 RZ. I was leaning toward the 2 disc, but I figured as my son gets older he may be interested in the 3D on.

Did they charge you $1.99 for shipping since it was under $25?

Monsters is a 5-disc set, so they used the kind of case that has 2x 2-disc middle flaps and the 5th disc on the inside back.

And the 3D version is $27.48. Still considering the non-3D one. With the coupon and my RZ certs, it can $0.79+tax for me out the door.

Same here. I didn't have the 3D option as Target was sold out. And while my disc buying has been cut down quite a bit, today felt like the mid 2000s. Everybody was buying this today, including the guy in line right in front of me. But he didn't have the coupon.

No, but that is a valid point. I ordered two really cheap BD titles to hit the $25 mark, before coupon, to get free shipping. Color of Night/Playing God 2-pack for $3.65, and King of California for $2.80, for an order total of $24.44 AC. So it would have been $19.98 with shipping, if ordered by itself.

From what I've experienced its really random, and I wish they would stop it too. The first movie I noticed that had this was the Fox and the Hound 2 movie collection. It seems to be on 3 and 4 disc releases. However Peter Pan still had a normal 3 disc case for its 3 disc release.

I noticed it on the Tinkerbell Secret of the Wings 4 disc set

If they continue doing this then at least put the blus on the bottom of each spindle as I went through two sets of Frankenweenie and still struck out. Once the blu discs are scratched then it is toast. Amazon had to refund my money after sending both sets back and they gave me some credit for the trouble. Pain in the ass!

Anyone of you experienced "Out Of Stock" availability of the 3D version?

Both Best Buy and Target by me were OOS today. Fortunately Target took the $7 coupon on the non 3d pack, but I was surprised neither had the 3d.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph release week pricing

Picked up the non-3D version at Target today with the coupon. Wasn't planning to get it right away but for $13 it's worth it. The coupon clearly states any Blu-ray pack so I don't see why anybody would have a problem using it on the non-3D version.
