They had them in Idaho Falls, ID. I was only going to buy a couple but I figured that I could use them for Best Buy trade-ins if nothing else (if they take blu-rays). So I ended up buying 12....

Just checked 2 of the 3 stores in Tallahassee this morning. They were all unloading today's shipment. Both stores grabbed the boxes from the back - 1 store had Ernest Goes to Camp and the other had no Ernest. If anyone is willing to pick up Jail or Scared Stupid I'd be happy to reimburse + shipping!

Both stores I've been to have so much Halloween stuff out. Makes me think I might run into these on Thursday since the OP indicated it's for the sale starting on Friday. Of course, there's a good chance they'll replace the Halloween stuff with Christmas stuff this week.

The problem is if these are for the Friday sale, then they won't be put out until Friday morning. One DT that gets alot of inventory did not have them out as of yesterday and the stocker/asst mgr said she was aware of them, but doesn't have them in. I believe she is lying because other stores have got them in that usually don't even get DVDs in. Anyway, hopefully I can get the last 2 I need by this weekend.

Wonder how many have been bought up by dipshit flea market sellers, and we'll see them try to sell them for $10 each?

After getting laughed at this morning by a DT store manager for thinking a dollar store would ever carry blurays, I found what I wanted at the second store.

I went in this past Sunday, around 11:30am or so to buy a birthday card for my niece as we were on the way to her birthday lunch and I decided to just check and see if they had the Blu-rays and maybe buy the Ernest flicks, or maybe a handful just for the cases at the very least. As I was walking to the shelf, this bitch ran in front of me with a shopping cart, opened her arms as wide as she could, and scooped each and every last one of them into the cart to buy them all, without even as so much as looking at the titles or anything like that.

I've never come so close to seriously yelling at a woman in my life, but held back and just walked out since I was in a hurry.

So yeah, it happens, I saw it. Idiots.

Well if she holds onto them for 5 years and they never reprint them then maybe she would make out. But you would have to sell these at at least $4 each online to only break even, and that doesn't even account for time and gas. And even then if there is even demand for these titles which since they are being liquidated at Dollar Tree I would think that isn't really there either.

But I have a feeling there will be Mill Creek BR 20/50 packs in not too long that will contain all of these titles.

I finally found them. Most are blind buys, but I will probably dump them after viewing... I just can't taint my BD collection this way...

My wife finally found them at a Dollar Tree outside our usual area while looking for Christmas decorations. She picked up Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend & Scenes From A Mall for me. Yay?

Found four blu rays and a couple of dvds. The blu rays are Gross Anatomy, The Tie that Binds, Straight Talk, and The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag. Will check out a couple of more stores tomorrow.

I went to two stores on Tuesday and nothing. But yesterday, visited the same stores and there they were finally!

Picked up:

Ernest Goes to Jail/Scared stupid/Goes to camp.
The Tie that Binds,
Gun in Betty Lous Handbag.

and a couple of dvds. The cashier acted totally surprised they had Blu Rays.

I've been to a couple other locations that eventually got in a few blus... Though haven't spotted Gross Anatomy or The Gun in Betty Lou's handbag...

I pick up the handful of guilty pleasures from this list. Hopefully they repeat this with the 2012 titles -- NY Stories, DOA, Mr. Wrong, Born Yesterday, and White Squall -- at some point in the future.

I have checked two Dollar Trees and no Baby - Secret Of The Lost Legend.

I'm gong out again today. One of my favorite titles. Wish me luck!

Two women (elderly) were picking up several copies of Blu-Rays in the last store I visited. I asked them if they knew what Blu-Ray was....neither did. I explained they would not play on regular DVD players. Both thanked me. I told the cashier they should point that out to customers. I bet that have many returns because of non-compability.

I don't think the Ernest movies are too rare. A few stores had a lot of each.

Funny, cuz I couldn't find Ernest (or My Father the Hero) but I think I found every other title that people are reporting. Pretty much 2 of each. I also bought a slew of $1 DVD's that I don't own. One was previewed, but a title I really want (The Great Buck Howard)

I don't think Dollar Tree accepts returns, unless they changed policy. I see they accept coupons now!

Stopped by the local store and still nothing (BDs or new DVDs). Though I was correct in noting that all the Halloween merchandise as been cleared out for Christmas stuff now.

Nothing at Dollar Tree is returnable for any reason.

I'd buy them for anaglyph 3d movies in my collection, though I think Jackass 3D is the only one I have left with them, just upgraded my bloody valentine

Went to two locations during lunch today, and both said these are in NEXT week's day. They didn't have any. Went to a 3rd location tonight, and she also said they are in next week's ad, but that they had them in the back. She brought out 4 cases for me to look at. I picked out the titles I hadn't seen yet, all of which were only 1 of (My Father the Hero, VI Warshawski, Play It to the Bone were 3 of them). Still haven't seen the Ernest movies, but I don't really care about those anyway. I ended up wth 15 different ones. I passed on a few that I had no interest in.

I'm irritated they cropped Money for Nothing... I had never seen it before, but there is a shot of Debi Mazar in lingerie, she's to the right of the screen... It's only a couple of seconds she's partially off screen... I have to buy the Disney dvd now....

I bought that when it was first out.

Bothering me more than anything is the terrible South Philly accents they are trying to do.

Just awful and bordering on stereotype bad Italian accent

im not going out of my way to find these but have stopped at two I seen as i was driving around for work.

First one had alot of titles but none of the Ernest ones.

the second one i didn't see them on the shelf but i saw a opened box laying on the floor with blus. instead of being obnoxious I asked a worker if she minded if i looked thru the box and that ill put them back when done and she said it wasn't a problem. found nothing when i was heading out I thanked the lady and she asked if i found what i was looking for I told her no and she said to hold on that they have a couple boxes of them in the back if i wanted to check them

they had 6-7 big boxes with a few smaller boxes of blus in each after 15 minutes we gave up as EVERY box we opened was nothing but that dolly parton movie....100s of frikkin dolly parton.

while I love me some Ernest im done as the only dollar tree by me is dirty and just well nasty and the employees suck so i have given up

Finally found some at the Pittsfield, MA store. There weren't many left:

Another Stakeout
Betsy's Wedding
The Marrying Man
Gross Anatomy
The War At Home

They also had:
Straight Talk
American Splendor (dvd)

Says who? Been going there for years and just yesterday I went back with something I didn't want that was bought back in August 2009 and exchanged it for something else. As long as it is unused you can exchange it for something else no matter when you bought it. At meast my experience at the dozen or so I frequent.

After the return issue was brought up, I looked at the back of the receipt and it says sealed unused items can be exchanged. But no refunds.

I stopped by this morning and it looked like over half the blu rays from Thursday are now gone. I've been to 4 different Dollar Trees in the past week and only found one store that had them.

At DT you can do a simple exchange. Or if they don't have anything you want to exchange for they will give you store credit in the form of a giftcard. Otherwise, yes they don't exchange for cash.

Re: Dollar Tree BLU Rays!

Finally found the blu-rays and dvds at my local DT stashed away next to a register. Picked up:

Holy Matrimony
The Gun in Betty Lou's Handbag
Miami Rhapsody
Play It to the Bone
Scenes From a Mall
Big Business
VI Warshawski
Consenting Adults
The Life & Death of Peter Sellers (dvd)
Adventures of Power (dvd)
The Deal (dvd)

More comedies for the challenge, although still no Disorganized Crime, which I was hoping they had. Watched Another Stakeout and was surprised how good the video quality was. I thought that Mill Creek had a bad rep as being a cheap label.

I checked another Dollar Tree locations today. Very few Blu-Ray titles and no [I]Baby - Secret Of The Lost Legend[I] At least here the sales associate suggested I order on line and have it sent there (not far from me). I called that number listed but have not had a return call yet.
