Sorta both.

You buy the case for 7.50, then when the movie is released, you take your recepit and you get an 7.50 credit towards the price of the blu ray set.

I'm guessing it's the case, the blu ray, a DVD, digital copy, Framed litho-cel collectable, passes for four to Disneyland, a week's stay at the Aulani Resort on Oahu, and fifty shares of Disney stock.

Usually...The 7.50 is a preorder for the actual movie and you get the case for preordering for free (in store...unsure how they handled it online). Once the movie comes in, you are credited for the 7.50 when you purchase the movie...or...you can just ask to cancel the preorder and keep the case.

At least, that's what Best Buy has done in the past...I'm just assuming this is a preorder. I'll just check in store on or after 9/2 (case release date) and see if they have them available.

He's just being dense. The 7.50 is always applied towards the purchase pricE of the disc.

Correct me if i am wrong but i think it said the same for Lion King. However, it turned out to be G2 sized (Blu-ray) case not G1 sized (DVD)

Uh oh....better be G2 sized or I'm out. I don't think Disney/Pixar has released any G1 Steelbooks yet when a Blu-ray is included, but I could be wrong.

It should be g2. This isn't a steelbook, but a viva metal box and they haven't, to my knowledge, release anything other than g2 size cases.
