The fact that you don't understand nor make an effort to but stick to your enforcement of a policy just by being on the other side of the counter makes a bad impression on the business in hiring these kids but not imparting enough knowledge of the retail business to them. Its like hiring temps to just ring up a transaction. I have no beef with these kids - its Best Buy's fault, not theirs.

EDIT: and I completely agree with the philosophy of going into the store expecting to be denied. that way when accepted, you walk out with a smile. and if not, you walk out with a smile at their stupidity. Win/win for me cos another store is no more than a few miles away (unless closing). I don't even argue anymore
