The UPC code seems to match this one, which says the original 3D movie is in 2D for this release.

Received it yesterday and it was a 2D version of the 3D concert not a 3D/2D Blu. Not upset since it was so inexpensive. Just wish it was clearer what was actually being offered.

And despite the run time shown on Amazon & Best Buy, it states 99 minutes on the back not 3 hours 30 minutes like they show.

Looks like they changed the time on Amazon. But Amazon does tend to confuse the feature length times of many movies. For example, a movie that is 100 minutes long, and there are 3 versions on three different discs, you'll get a running time of 300 minutes.

Just an FYI on Dial M for Murder - Amazon has had it on sale for $12.99 a few times in the past. That's how much I picked it up for.

But House of Wax at $19.99 is a great price.

CCC shows it has only hit that price once in 4 years. Average price at Amazon is $27.40. So it is still a decent price on a titles that rarely goes on sale if someone has been waiting on it.

House of Wax shows hitting the lowest price of $21.99 once in 3 years which is hard to believe. That one never goes down in price. I know as I have been waiting on it for awhile. I finally sucked it up and bit at the $19.99 price.

Heck, it's 19.99 now, same as at Best Buy. I guess that could be price-matching, but I was under the impression Amazon rarely bothered to price match anymore.

Actually, it greatly depends on the day of the week as well. There are certain days that Amazon is far more likely to price match.

I don't think Amazon cares much about physical media customers anymore now that they have millions of users. I would actually guess that heavy media consumers that have Prime are likely a net negative for them.

Cheapest I've ever seen this was $7.99 on Amazon Canada, either last year or the year before. Granted, shipping may have dissuaded U.S. buyers, but adding an additional item or two plus the favorable exchange rate (even at the time) made it a no-brainer. However, proof of that price no longer shows up on CCC (with country reset to Canada), as far as I can tell.

E Unit

CCC has never been a definitive source. Dial M has hit that low price at least twice on Amazon, more than likely as a result from when Best Buy lowered their prices. That $7.99 price was a Black Friday price I believe at Best Buy.

I recall that as well. I actually got a second copy for that price at BB, mainly so I could have it without the bilingual packaging (sold my Canadian version), but I distinctly recall it being that price on Amazon Canada as well, if perhaps briefly. Either way, that price seems unlikely to be repeated.
