They haven't advertised it, but these have been on sale for this price since right after Thanksgiving. I bought all but one or two over the past few weeks.

re: Best Buy / bestbuy.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I see some TV shows are on sale:

Person of Interest S1 (BD/DVD/UV) $21.99
Vampire Diaries S3 (BD/DVD/UV) $21.99
Grimm Season 1 BD (includes UV) $21.99
White Collar S1 BD $22.99

There are more, but those were the ones that caught my eye.

Haven't seen this here yet, so forgive me if I've missed it: Back to the Future Trilogy is $24.99 for 3 days, far as I can tell. Yes, Costco had it for $22.99, and some of us paid even less, what, two years ago?

Not the best deal, but maybe you have Reward Zone coupons to use. Here's the link.

Yep, it was that price at least once at Target, which is when I picked it up. Pretty good deal considering I got $7 for my DVD trilogy on eBay soon after.

Coming up as $32.99 now. Still a little "3 Day Sale" sticker on it. Looks like Best Buy is screwing around again. Was $24.99 just a Deal of the Day yesterday? If so, why the "3 Day Sale" symbol?

Screw Best Buy, buy it somewhere else. I hate when they pull this crap.

Best BACK TO THE FUTURE deal I can recall involved doing a price match with Target at Best Buy when it was $14.99 and then using an Upgrade & Save coupon on top of that for another $5 off. Some posters here got it for $9.99.

re: Best Buy / bestbuy.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

That deal was back in June '11. What happened was Target had the trilogy for $14.99 on Sunday morning. I checked Best Buy's website that morning and they also had it for $14.99. I went to Best Buy with my coupon, which was for $5 off any blu-ray priced $14.99 and up (pre-dates Upgrade and Save).

By the time I got to Best Buy, around 11:00a, the price was up to $24.99. I was pissed and told the manager it was bad business. He basically said "sorry, too bad." He said he'd match Target, OR let me use my coupon, not both. I wound up buying 4 or 5 of them, all the new packages with the "better" hubs. Kept one, gifted one, and sold the rest to my friends for exactly what I paid. I made a lot of people happy with that one.

Yep, that's when I picked it up. Except it wasn't a price match, they matched their own online price for $14.99.

Picked up House Season 8 for $21.99. I think that's the lowest it will get for a while. I expected it to match previous Black Friday prices last month, but it never budged from it's original price like the others did.

If the pattern holds, which it did throughout 2012, then there will be one for 2 or 3 weeks during January.

Found these in store on a cardboard display towards the back with other titles not often seen on sale. All 4.99, some others being Executive Decision and Peckinpah's The Getaway.

Where the Wild Things Are and Battle of the Bulge are also $4.99. I'm still waffling on Executive Decision since it is an edited/alternate cut.

I had no idea what you were talking about, so I looked up the review, which linked to THIS. Posts 20-30 mention the edits. I just bought mine recently and can still return it, but it was only $3.99. There are several edits, and I don't like it! But for only 4 bucks, I may as well keep it...

I'd recommend you hold on to your DVD if you still have it or buy a used copy. I didn't know about this and sold my used DVD to a store

Many are the shitty Echo Bridge releases - including rereleases of Stealth, Vertical Limit, Color of Night etc...be warned. These are dollar store quality and deserve no more than $1.50 - $1 for the movies and $0.50 for the bluray case

Is there a source you can refer me to with details about these? I see "Echo Bridge" spat out like they're the Uwe Boll of distributors with vague allusions to poor quality, but I can't find anything specific as to why? Are they downloading 1-CD torrents and slapping them on a BD? Are they not just re-running previously made titles off the existing masters?
