Frozen Planet and The Fast & The Furious 1-5 are under $30 shipped to the US.

The Frozen Planet set must have recently come down in price and now beats the US release by $10.

Went ahead and ordered both with estimated delivery date of 10-14 April

Oddly, Amazon UK lists "Cleopatra" as "all region" in the product details, but says this in the product description, "Please note this is a region B Blu-ray and will require a region B or region free Blu-ray player in order to play."

Actually, "Cleopatra" is now under seven pounds, -probably about a dollar or so less in US funds. I've got a copy and all of it plays just fine on my Sony player.

The UK BD of Cleopatra plays fine in all American Blu-ray players.

Excellent! I'll replace my DVD set immediately.

I've loved this movie since I saw it as a teenager during its roadshow release back when.

Thanks. I know the 6 disc one was confirmed but I wasn't sure about the 4 disc set which claims to be region B locked.

After all the recent discussions of how long it takes to receive things from the UK I was rather surprised, -I ordered the "Jurassic Park" box set (about $25 and change in US funds at the time) on March 30th and received it Saturday April 7th in good condition...

Same exact discs if I'm not mistaken. Different packaging and without the 2 bonus discs

Thanks for your help. I've been on the fence about upgrading them, even with the great price on the 6 disc set but getting the movies in HD for under $20us shipped was a no brainer.

Sad to see that the price of the 8-disc Stanley Kubrick boxset recently went up £10 (from £25 to £35)! I'd been hoping to pick this up as I already have everything but "Barry Lyndon" and "Lolita", and I really want to check out the shorter cut of "The Shining".

Curses. :(

I suppose this isn't so bad if you don't mind the missing extras from the other releases.

This is the new UK set, identical to the new American releases with extras for both of the first two movies. Sony did drop the extras disc from the third one for whatever reason.

I went with the UK trilogy, the box art is a lot nicer than photoshop-rrific three single releases. That and I'm not likely to go see the new spiderman, I'm just not sold on it...so I'll probably wait until it hits disc. Also grabbed Red Sonja on Blu-Ray since it is not available over here.

And came today and look great. Red Sonja does indeed play here and wow...for anybody who actually liked the movie, they did a GOOD Job on restoration. And the cover for the Spiderman trilogy is better than expected and they use the new covers for the three full cases in the box.

Question though, these blu-ray cases (not that I mind just curious should I ever need a replacement) are reasonably thicker than US counterparts...does anybody know the size of these cases? They are kinda sized like Criterion cases, just with the usual blue tinge.

They are identical to PS3 game cases.
