Same region, but many have English and French on the packaging.

Re: Canadian Blu-ray Bargains

For the past 3-4 days, the upcoming Criterion Blu-ray edition of L'avventura has been priced at only 23.09$ at Amazon.ca. I'm sure they will eventually realize their mistake and boost up the price to 32.99$ (they even have the wrong product description), but it's a very good deal. If you factor in potential free shipping and the current exchange rate, it's slightly less than if you buy it during the next Barnes and Noble sale.

Both seasons of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes for CDN$18.79 together.

It's a great deal because Disney never plans to release this cartoon series in America on Blu-ray. I paid more than this for both seasons individually.

They play in all American BD players, if that is what you mean. All Canadian BDs are Region A, the same as America.

I really want this, but $9.50 shipping is kind of ridiculous.

I believe there are 52 episodes between the two seasons. Even with the shipping, it's a great deal.

Shipping from Canada to the US is always ridiculous.

Re: Canadian Blu-ray Bargains

Wow. We actually get the same price for the Breaking Bad Barrel as the US site, $119.99, so given the exchange rate, it's even cheaper here:

http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00N0XY5ZU

If I didn't own most of it, I'd buy this.

The Friends Complete Series Blu-ray set is $68.99 as a Lightning Deal today at Amazon.ca. It was $64.99 last year but $4 is not a huge difference.

Also the Dexter Complete set is $94.99 with the Batman LE Complete TV set for $142.99. All on Amazon.ca

Re: Canadian Blu-ray Bargains

I'm debating whether to buy the Harry Potter set along with the Batman Complete set. The thing is that I have the Potter steelbooks along with the Future Shop case. But the extras...
