I love that about DD. They will cancel an order on you for no good reason, seemingly randomly at times, and then when you need an order to be canceled they refuse to do so half the time.

This isn't on sale as part of their Black Friday deals, but the Coen Brothers Blu-ray set (Fargo, Raising Arizona, Blood Simple, and Miller's Crossing) is $44.99 and is eligible for the "Balance" coupon code, knocking it down to $34.99 with free shipping. Great deal if I didn't already have Fargo.

Thankfully I was able to get foxconnect to cancel, so I won't end up with 2 of each. (still sucks though, as with this deal I was basically going to get the Rio combo pack for about $3 after cancelling the DD order and returning a Bestbuy order (the league))

I used Google checkout, and am shocked to see my order listed under my foxconnect account. Have you looked there?

If you tried to cancel your DD order online, it's a waste of time. I tried it, and also got the email saying it could not be canceled. So then I called them on the phone, and they canceled it no problem. I didn't even have to wait on hold (amazingly).

fox reg gives me free ship and 40 cents off. weird. I had 80 in my cart, but now I just have the 4 futurama movies(dvd's) as that is what I really want for $15.60

Almost checked out with a bunch of Stargate DVDs. Glad I double-checked my order. Had to remove everything and add Bones S4,5, and 6. Anyway, great deal. Took a few hours for my order to actually show up online. The amount of orders they are getting is probably insane.

As to DeepDiscount, I really wish they could just implement a...CANCEL ORDER...button. Amazon has this feature, and I'm pretty sure other large merchants do as well, and it's this feature which brings me back to them more often than not. It would save DD a bunch of phonecalls, as well as returned merchandise.

Anyone think Stargat Universe final season will get a release on Blu? I am tempted to place a second order and get season 1 with a couple other things, but if the final season won't be rleased on Blu (eventhough it was shot in HD) i'm not sure I want to get season 1 in Blu...

Looks like my order went through.

I tried but I couldnt pass this deal up. Spent $90 and got caught up on all of blu-ray TV sets and some Christmas gifts.

tried to get stargate atlantis season 5, but the order total said $31

So far I've gotten no emails from Fox Connect, and I haven't heard of anyone saying their order was shipped or cancelled. I guess we're in the "wait and see" mode hoping that they will fulfill the orders.

Hmmm... I ordered pretty quickly on day one, but nothing has shipped yet. Two orders show Processing, and the one I paid with Google checkout shows Pending.

How exactly do you check your order status with Google checkout? This is the first time I've used them. When I log onto the Google account it shows the order and says it was sent to FoxConnect. Is that where shipping info is updated?

No this first order was through them directly. Second one I did through Amazon has not yet.

Amazon Payments just sent a shipping notice for one of my orders. It only lists two of the five items in the order as being included, but the full $30 total was processed. No mention of anything being backordered or shipping separately in the e-mail.
