The e-mail specifically mentions your "wish list". You're not limited to buying titles from the Wish List, but it wouldn't hurt to have a couple on there. That might be the trigger for getting the e-mail.

I just picked up Hannie Caulder (1971) Blu Ray for $15.98 ,which is a pretty good deal....I had already used the $10 off on the Lebowski blu....so $15.98 is before any coupon discount.

I've been ordering from Deep Discount for years (last order made with them was last week) and have never received a $5 or $10 coupon code. Come to think of it, I've only received 3 ads (after the 3rd one the e-mails just stopped coming) from them via e-mail since being a member.

How do they select who to send the codes to?

Apparently by picking names out of a hat because I've been buying with them for years, have 2 different accounts (both with wish list items) and I've never received these coupons either.

I received a $10 coupon recently so I ordered De Blob 2 ($15.99) and a NOVA Earthquake DVD for $11.7X. The Blob game wasn't in stock, it had the 5-10 day qualifier on it. I got an email a few days later saying that De Blob was canceled and I'm paying $7.50 for the DVD. I was a little peeved as I lost $6 on that coupon. I wished they had asked me about it (due to losing the coupon value), the Wii version is the same price and I would've taken that instead.

You should call them to take ten off the one item. They might charge 99 cents additional for shipping.

I agree. That was an odd decision on their part to pro-rate the coupon. Glad Amazon didn't learn that trick, back in the day.
