Nice...just picked up Machete, The Fighter, and Chronicles of Narnia: Dawn Treader for $27.84 shipped. Then rushed back for another order of Hereafter, The American, and Somewhere.

I think I may finally be on the "simply wait for prices to nosedive" bandwagon when it comes to buying Blu-rays.

Ah, nuts, I hate when I take stuff people like. I'm not altogether sure they'll ship, so there's still a chance someone else got it before me!

lol, it's all good buddy. I know what you mean about them all shipping. things were going out of stock so quickly no one's sure WHO got them or not... at least the nice thing is that all titles were adjusted to $7 so it won't end up like the fiascos they had a year ago with the B2G1 free titles where the 2 at full price shipped and the free one got cancelled.

I would have went for some of the Criterion and Disney titles, but all the good stuff is already out of stock.

Added Black Swan and Voyage of the Dawn Treader in my cart, but didn't bother choosing a third title. At about $10 each after tax and shipping, it's not such a hot deal for used product. Hopefully, those two will be around the same price on Black Friday.

I went with the Bourne Trilogy (separated out naturally). There wasn't anything on the higher end (that wasn't sold out) that I really wanted. So I went with that. One thing to note, if you get something that is less than $7 (like the first Bourne) you get that movie at its cost but still get the other two at $7 a piece. So even if you only find 2 above $7 and one below, it works out.

Black Swan, Machete and 127 Hours for $27 is fine. I've been wanting these for awhile now.

I would have been in if they had 3d copies still, but they are all sold out, even crappy Clash of the titans 3d.

Now a days I just can't pay 10 bucks for a non 3d blu, they get so cheap so quickly

Social Network, Apocalypto and Tron: Legacy 2-disc for me. Prices on each on Amazon have been around $20 each for months, so happy to get the trio for $27.

Damn, I can't believe I missed this sale.

After shipping and tax, it comes to $10 a blu. So...don't feel too bad. Most of the really good stuff was gone within the first hour. Honestly I wouldn't have gotten anything if I wasn't reading the 4th Bourne book right now and realized I didn't have the trilogy to watch to refresh myself .

And it begins...woke up to a cancellation email for Somewhere. Hopefully the rest ship w/o issue.

^^Stand By Me, The Ten Commandments, and When We Left Earth were all in stock this morning when I checked my wish list. Those three titles would have been well worth the $30.

I placed 2 orders yesterday and this morning I get 3 emails that they canceled 3 of the Blu-rays (Ten Commandments, Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, & The Green Hornet 3D) because they were not available. I placed my order as soon as this thread was posted.

This is exactly why I skipped this deal. Too much room for error because of their picking and shipping process and then having to deal with them about cancellations.

Are they just going to charge everyone that has canceled items seven dollars for each so that if one is canceled you are only paying 14 before shipping? Why not just advertise it as $7 blu sale?

The prices plus shipping just were not good enough to outweigh the possible headaches.

I didn't get any cancellations yet, but no shipping notices either. And based on the discounts I received on my items, most of which cost anywhere from $25+ a piece on Amazon marketplace, the headache of unexpected cancellations may still be worth it.

Each item showed up as $7.00 at checkout and on the order confirmation. The 3/$21 is probably to get people to buy more.

I ordered 12 titles and I received 1 cancellation so far (Green Hornet, which is the title I least wanted out of the 12).

Keeping my fingers crossed on the others.

I have a sneaking suspicion that they didn't mean for the 3d blu-rays to be part of this special so they are for the most part cancelling all the 3d blu-ray orders. Most of the cancellation complaints I've seen are for 3d copies.

I ordered 9, and while it's an awesome deal, I immediately hated myself afterwards.
