Shipping is $1.99 PER ORDER, so it's $6.98 if you only get Robocop, but they do have some other deals. I bought Uncle Buck for $8.99 and The Recruit for $9.99, then used my $20 Groupon.

They charge tax if you live in one of the 19 states where they have stores. But most of you probably won't have to pay tax.

My Groupon that day was for a damn SCUBA Certification course. I would have jumped on Family Video though

One little wrinkle: Is this in a blu-ray case or a DVD case?

Those stupid combo packs occasionally come in both case types and I'm almost certain that I have seen the Robocop BR in a DVD style case...

I've only seen the Robocop combo in a DVD case.

In for 1. I'll just switch to a blu case along with all the Blockbuster blu's I have in DVD cases. Thanks, OP!

*Well, I guess there is an issue with the artwork fitting in a blu case...

All of the rental Blu-rays I've ever purchased have the original Blu-ray art with them, it's just stuck over the top of a blue piece of paper to fill out the case.

Yeah, but if this version of Robocop is the BD/DVD combo in a DVD case then the artwork will be sized for DVD cases.

Well, I ordered this yesterday (didn't get a chance to post it until today), and it shipped already, so I'll be sure to post whether it is a DVD or BD case. I swear I have seen a BD case in-store, but it probably wasn't the combo pack. The picture definitely looks like a DVD case. Great price either way, but I'm with you guys in hoping this is BD-sized.

since it's a borderline price, the package is actually the determining factor for me.

I was also influenced because I had to use my $20 Groupon, and was looking for cheap titles to order with Uncle Buck. I can't let packaging influence me too much. I already have normal BD's, and steelbook BD's, and Digibooks, and special package BD's in shaped heads and statues, etc. They're not all going to line up perfectly together on my shelf anyway. So I threw in the towel.

I personally have so many dvds and BDs, it doesn't bother me anymore. I got stuck with the DVD case at Toys r us when I reserved the two Toy Story movies. I can put them all together. I ordered it with the Quest for Love DVD which was a good price at 12.99 with Robocop.

If I had gotten one of those groupons, I probably would have bit too. I have to look for reasons NOT to spend money. That Godzilla set is also calling my name and I have bought DVDs on 7 of the last 9 days of this month at an avg that I'm too embarrassed to admit. Ross, Big Lots, Amazon, Wal-Mart -- they are killing me!

Re: Robocop BD/DVD Combo Pack $4.99 + shipping at Familyvideo.com

I forgot to post back in this thread until now. As expected, Robocop is in a DVD-style case. But I can live with it, for the price. Plus then I have the DVD to loan out to friends (I don't loan out my BD's). My only criticism of Family Video is that they arrived in the thinnest envelope in existence. No padding whatsoever. Everything was fine, but they could have easily been damaged in shipment.

BTW, they have a few more deals right now. Mr. Brooks BD is $4.99, and The Neverending Story BD is $8.99. Robocop is still 4.99
