Best Buy and Target each had their own exclusive bonus disc (on Blu-ray and on DVD) and if the bonus was with the BD it was a bonus BD disc, and if it was the bonus with the DVD it was a bonus DVD disc, if that makes sense. It was cool, because rarely are bonus discs actually Blu-ray discs, even if they come with the Blu-ray. Here are the contents of each:

That's a good price for both the Pacific and Deadwood (don't own either on DVD), but, since I already picked up the fifth season of The Wire today at BB (the only season I still needed) and I ordered the Complete Series of the Larry Sanders Show from Amazon yesterday, both ocurring after I had said I was done buying DVDs/BDs for the year, I'm forcing myself to show restraint and avoiding buying either of them...until next year's HBO sale.

order the pacific from amazon. the savings from sales tax plus waiting in line kept me from BB exclusive.

I was pretty pleased at my local BB. They had set up a small section right when you walk into the store for "store pick-up" only. No heavy waiting at customer service as I had feared. Got it in five minutes and was out the door. They still had a few copies with the exclusive disc left. I just wish the disc would fit into the tin. Even with the slim case, it makes it too thick to close the tin.

Picked up The Pacific from BB. They had around 5 or so exclusives left and since I got there at 8:30 in the morning there was no line at all Now if I can find someone to sell me their Target exclusive disc I'll be set.

I ordered Band of Brothers. I have never seen it nor The Pacific. But I have heard BOB is just a tad better than Pacific so I will hold off on it until I finish BOB.
