How overdue was it?

I ordered on the 25th of November and received it on the 29th of December.

That is a while, considering it technically didn't enter the Christmas rush until a couple of weeks later. I'm on day forty-five from December and still waiting. I can't decide whether it's just taking forever or was stolen/mis-sent. I received other items since the shipment occurred. Strange stuff. Even with immense delays, things should have been here for many people.

I hope that the courier didn't use Google maps and swim the ocean.

In regards to his order taking almost a month from mid November until the end of December, yes the Christmas rush had only just started, but this was also the period where they had the worst winter storm in years in the UK which slowed down everything immensely. Amazon.co.uk even had delay notices on their front page.

My order dispatched on 21 Dec and I'm still waiting. They already shipped out a replacement too. From all these posts I've been reading it sounds like it will get here eventually. :fingerscrossed:

I am there with you. My first order shipped out on December 20th and the replacement order shipped out on January 22nd. No sign of either. Hopefully soon...weather must have really been nasty - in the past most Amazon UK orders have taken about 7 days (if not less).

Location-wise, I'm in Indiana.

My Aliens box that shipped on December 14 finally hit my mailbox on February 4. I emailed them on January 26 simply to register that it was missing (I actually told them I didn't mind waiting longer). They went ahead and sent a new set anyway. I kind of feel bad about it since they told me not to bother sending it back. Um, not that bad!

It's possible you just received the replacement set. Before this Winter it used to take about a week for me to receive items from Amazon UK.

Both my original and replacement still have not arrived. I did receive a refund. I really want my sets.

I'm still waiting in NC both for the original and the replacement...as well as a replacement from Deep Discount that was shipped over two weeks ago. In all my years of working in the small parcel/shipping industry, this is by far the all around worst the post office has ever consistently been. --Peter

Are you sure it was the original and not the replacement? Could you check the date on the package?

This does give me hope though. A lot of people are having to wait a long time but it does eventually come. I'm still waiting too. I think the snow has really done a number on the postal service lately.

Don't give up hope Weed, it will come. Mine took 46 days but it did eventually come and it was worth it. I've been going through the special features and it feels like it'll take another 46 days just to get through all of them. It is the greatest BD boxset I've ever come across.
