The Fugitive dropped to $7, but even though it's probably the edition with the VC-1 encode, it has worse sound than the MPEG-2, and the PQ still isn't great, so I'm going to hold off still. Really hope Warner revisits that one and does it right.

Amazon lists the Speed Racer Blu-Ray as having only 1 disc. I thought it was a 3 disc edition with 2 extra discs for a digital copy and a game. Is this the 3 disc edition and Amazon made a mistake or is it really only 1 disc now (like how Warner silently discards the DVD + digital copy on many of their other releases after a while)?

That said, it doesn't sound like we're missing much losing a digital copy and a game.

Love the show, but this is still WAY too much considering S1 had only 8 episodes. I also highly doubt it will be renewed for S3...

WB download codes expire a year after street so the Digital Copy is probably gone

Season 1 had 12 episodes. 26.99 isn't a bad price but it will probably go lower eventually and it's not a show I'm dying to own.

I thought 8 sounded low, but that's all I saw listed on amazon.com. I see now that there are more eps if I scroll down. I still think it's too much, even for 12 eps. Lost seasons had twice as many eps for less than that... Not to mention 2 discs versus 5/6/7 discs for Lost (depending on the season). Apparently I've just been spoiled...

I'd buy Usual Suspects, Patton, and Master and Commander in a heartbeat if they were new editions with the special features (and a fixed transfer for Patton). But since all I'm hearing is that they're the same discs that have been under $10 for over a year but in misleading "book" cases, I'll be avoiding these like the plague and advising others to do the same.

Your first release of the movie was crap, lagging behind the DVD in terms of content, and you RE-release them with fancy new packaging that implies a new-edition and RAISE THE MSRP??

What exactly is wrong with the transfer of Patton? A 4.5 star rating on DVdtalk, a 5 start rating on Blu-rya.com as well as positive comments on all other review sites I frequent seem to indicate the transfer is very, very good.
