Thanks, Prideoftheyanks! We can survive without the links.

Was hoping that would go down more.. I notified them of Walmart's $18.50 price last night. I guess it'll probably come out even considering no tax or shipping

You mean they put a widescreen BD in the package with a P&S DVD? That's weird. You'd think it would be 1 or the other. I know Stuart Little 2's DVD had both formats, but I think they were separate DVD releases for the first movie. It basically makes the DVD worthless, though it's likely that it was filmed full frame but the special effects work done in widescreen, so the DVD would probably end up missing stuff on the edges whenever Stuart is on screen. Just speculating.

I have no idea what the magic amount is or how someone who hasn't kept track of that in the past would be able to remember or figure out, but what do the greedy overspending governments care about how much work and time they cause taxpayers to comply. If they're going to do this, I'd much rather have online stores charge the sales tax because I don't want to try to keep track of online transaction. So even for those states where Amazon doesn't charge sales tax you might have to pay it anyway or risk a visit from your favorite local thugs.

How are they going to audit? Is Amazon going to give the state IRS access to my purchase history? Will my bank release statements to them?

Let us keep discussions about sales tax in the Store Forum if anywhere. It deserves to be talked about but somewhere else. Stick to bargains.

Big Smile. After what they did to me last year. I said the hell with them and deleted the other account. Got together with some people I know and we made a new account. With names that are off the wall. Even got a pre paid card. Other then my address not sure how they would bill me.

It's amazing how cheap this is now. Got it at foxconnect last year during the black Friday sale don't remember how much it was but probably more than this. Wish fox would put out more animation on blu.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)

As tempting as the Family Guy trilogy would be, I've never seen any Family Guy episodes (well except for 1 because of the guest they had on and I wasn't too impressed), so $15.49 is still a rather expensive blind buy. Though I've never done video streaming nor ever watched any of my free Amazon video on demands, at times like this I wish I could watch them for $1 each online without having to subscribe to a monthly service (like Netflix). I'll wait for a lower price and then the blind buy won't be so risky.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)

Since this is "the Amazon thread", I'll post some questions here regarding preorders placed while you have Prime but which ship after your Prime expires (which will happen to me soon). Someone else said Prime orders retain their free Prime shipping after your Prime expires even if the item/order is under $25. Can others confirm this is correct?

Suppose you have 2 $13 items in an order for $26. If you picked free Prime shipping on each and canceled 1 of the 2 items after your Prime expired, would the remaining item still retain free Prime shipping? Then what if you picked free super saver (it actually shows "standard shipping" for me) on the 2 items and you cancel 1 of them? I assume at that point you'd get a shipping charge on the remaining item?

So the moral of the story would be... always select Prime shipping while you have Prime even if the preorder(s) will ship after yours expires? If so, I guess I'd better change my shipping soon as I selected standard shipping on everything assuming I'd get charged 2 day shipping when my Prime expired.

Once the order is locked in it's locked in. If you look at the order you'll see a line for shipping. They can't change that after the fact.

Yeah, I got my Rango BLUray sent to me the day after my Prime shipping expired and there was still no shipping charge for the 2 day delivery, even though the entire order was only $14.99.

I went ahead and took a stab at the Family Guy Trilogy thingy with Damages S1. Both are the lowest I've seen.

If you haven't seen it, I recommend against getting it. The first one was funny, but the other two were painful - even the makers of the show commented on how they were "forced" to make the last two.

Re: Amazon Discounts and Deals Thread #7 (is it #7? I'll pretend it is)

alright quick question here.... I got in on the pirates stranger tides 3d pre-order with the $7 coupon... i kow that i can combine the coupon with the preorder guarentee, but when will my order reflect... it just price dropped 3$ but my order does not reflect... does it wait all the way until shipping? and if so does it assume the shipping day price is the lowest?
