Scream Trilogy for 19.99 is really cheap. Not only do you get the 3 films in HD, but you also get two new full length docs with it.

I can't find any information on this release. Is it 4 separate Blu-rays? Do you know how they are packaged?

Yeah, I know that kinda sucks. Cause I bought all three this past April for like 7.99 a piece. But if i trade them in and get atleast 10 bucks i'd be happy with that. But I wish they sell them separately. but they know we will be buying them anyway. 20 bucks is cheap for 3 films and 2 docs.

I bought the halloween 1979 blu ray and there was this doc on it. its like 87 mins. I think it was on tv, cause i remember seeing it else where.

Good lord. You feel 7.99 is a killer price for each movie and it can't get any better so it must be safe to bite. Now bitten...again. Even cheaper and with a doc. It makes me want to SCREAM I, II, III times. Seems appropriate.

Fuck me! I got my Screams for $6 each, but at still ticked about the box set bargain. I'd gladly have a 4th disc for $2. Well, I haven't opened any of the 3 yet, so I'll try to unload them. Shouldn't be too difficult to sell and get back what I paid...

The list of titles is okay, basically if you know you are going to see Cowboys & Aliens you can find a couple where you will basically get the discs for free. I wish I liked Inglorious Bastards more, I'd go for that one in a heartbeat.

Don't tempt me! I liked Stuart Little and $7.99 is not a bad price for a combo BD with movie cash, but I already own Stuart Little on DVD and it's not the kind of movie I watch that often. One thing about these movie deals is they list these wide date ranges, but from what I heard of Zookeeper I'd be surprised if it lasts in theaters past July. Wait too long and you'll have free movie cash for movies that aren't playing in any theaters. Jumanji is not tempting me because it's $3 more.

I just decided that if I can find some reviews and details of the Stuart Little BD, I might upgrade and consider the movie cash worth $5 (how much a matinee costs here). Unfortunately Googling came up with no reviews but several people asking if there were any reviews on various web sites. DVD Empire doesn't even have it on their site so I can't check the back cover to read what extras it has. I hate it when BD releases drop extras from the DVD. Hopefully Amazon won't jack up the price once they notice the interest in this before I can find some reviews and decide. Of course I won't know until I get the movie cash if it works at my next-door AMC or if I have to drive 10 miles to a Harkins.
I agree, except that for me getting back what I paid is usually incredibly difficult. Unless FYE currently has an outrageously high (over $6) used trade-in value for the Scream BDs, I don't know of any easy way. I sent you a PM about this.

Since the release date for the Scream Trilogy is September 6th, I put in a preorder placeholder just in case Amazon jacks up the price. If I can get rid of my 3 unopened Scream BDs for $6 x 3, then I'll get the Trilogy, otherwise I'll cancel the Trilogy and keep my 3 individual BDs and try to survive the rest of my life without the Scream documentary (which I'll probably never find time to watch anyway even if I get the Trilogy). :-)
