Can you use the coupon more than once? Like, come in in the morning and use it, and come in again later in the day and use it? Or do they have some flag on your rewards account that you already used it?

I doubt I'll be able to find one single thing in my local store to use it on, but I'll go take a look... My store's selection blows...

I don't know what to use it on. Yesterday, I used the 33% coupon, plus the promo $10 borders bucks they put in my account for a promotional thing, plus free shipping to store to get Metropolis for under $15.

I've never had an issue using the same coupon multiple times in the same day. I've even asked the cashier to ring up my items one transaction at a time. Most of the cashiers that I've met don't really care but I have encountered one stickler before that wasn't willing to ring up multiple transactions so I just went to a second store and used the coupon again.

No such thing happens on your Rewards card/account.

You should be fine using the coupon at various points in the day.

Probably because Store Management was on top of that person. When I was a Manager at Borders, ringing up transactions the way those other cashiers did is usually frowned upon (more along the lines as Cashiers aren't supposed to do it) and shows up on a daily/weekly report. I used to be the Operations Manager at my local Borders and I had to check/follow up on things like that.

Don't even bother to try to use this on any blu-rays at Borders. You'll be wasting your time. On the other hand, it is a great discount for books.

Why is it a waste of time? It's makes the Criterion releases $20 (or less if you are a Borders Rewards Plus member).

I guess YMMV depending on what one is looking for.

I called Borders Customer Care (800-770-7811) and was able to get my free $10 Borders Bucks restored to my account (they officially expired yesterday). She said it would take 24-48 hours, but it showed up within 5 minutes to my account. I'm going to get "The Twilight Zone: Season 1" on BD. After coupon and BB, it should come to $40 or less. Current Amazon price is $72.

Was able to get King Kong ('33) for $17.50 before tax. That's $3 cheaper than the DD sale right now, which is the cheapest I've seen it since I've been looking (the last month).

I'm wondering if this coupon may be for Rewards Plus members, because when I used it, an additional Rewards Plus discount of 10% kicked in, bringing the pre tax cost down to $15.75- which is a price point I'm extremely happy about on this one.
But I've never signed up or paid for the Plus account, so maybe the coupon worked some extra magic? Either way I'm tickled as hell.

BTW, if I hadn't already gotten Doctor Who S5 from BB with their 30% off, I could have saved even more here. They have a list price of $80, so $40 with the coupon before tax. Nice.

I was going to use this on Fantastic Mr. Fox, only to find that it was actually priced at 50% off ($14.99). It was in a separate display, but not marked in any way.

Called Customer Care and they nicely put $10 in borders bucks on my card. I used the borders bucks and the 50% off and got doctor who season 5 for $31

I was able to use my 50% off coupon on Doctor Who S5 for a couple bucks over $40 with tax. A bit more than DD during its 25% off sale, but good enough. Also was able to get Psych S4 for $15; again, good enough.
