My wallet is in agony. I can't believe how fast Amazon drops some of the prices.

$6.49 for the Simpsons Movie, I'm in.

Tell me about it. Our mailman and UPS carrier think we're nuts since we buy 90% of everything online. And at this time of year it gets worse. I'm expecting six packages of stuff next week, and that total will go higher as the prices online go lower lol.

Grabbed SPR.

I've been setting my alarm so I can wake up for every deal I want. I've gotten 3 hours of sleep so far

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Got taking pelham within seconds of it going live at the 5.00 price.

Its awesome amazon is dropping the prices on these titles, now if only they could get those 6.49 and 7.99 titles down to the 5.00 mark that they were going for at wal mart.

And if only they would price match the frys price for the spiderman trilogy lol

Snooze, WAKE UP--DEAL TIME!, Snooze, WAKE UP...

I should laugh...when I woke up this morning, my wife was stirring and she said, "Aren't you waiting for some deal online?"

Me: "Yeah, it starts in forty-five minutes."

Word. Just picked up Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 and the crappy transfer of The Killer for $5 each.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

I wish Amazon would drop prices on Blu's that are still full price, a break on Toy Story 3 or that Shrek box set would be nice; I have already ordered all the on sale Blu rays I want.

Picked up The Hurt Locker, Saving Private Ryan, Predators and Superbad today.

Lots of other good stuff on sale as well, I will probably be home all day picking stuff up for on the cheap!

If they do that, it's free-for-all time. What little resistance I have left will be broken.

Iam almost afraid to order anything to soon, for fear it will drop even lower once it goes into shipping soon mode.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Got SPR for $10. My only Amazon order so far. A lot of great prices but nothing else I desperately want. And of all those BDs that I have some interest in, who knows how much lower the prices will drop. It's a good thing the stock market doesn't work like Amazon or we'd constantly be having crashes. "The price dropped another $0.50 today! I'll have to cancel all the shares I bought yesterday and rebuy them at the new price."

I'm kinda bummed that The Prisoner is going to be dvd only. Been looking to pick it up at a good price since release and missed it's sale price last summer because I was on vacation.

In for SPR! This is one I had been waiting for.

Considered The Killer but sounds like it's not that great of an upgrade so I'll pass. Though I see one of the positive customer reviews is by a "wmlopez3"--could that be our wm lopez?

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

So far I've picked up the following Blu-rays:

Saving Private Ryan
Predators

Some of the other "deals" were only like $5 off Amazon's regular price (and some of the $5 Blu-rays usually sell for less than $8), so I wasn't as anxious to nab some of the movies I didn't have in those categories.

Re: Amazon Black Friday Sales Start Monday, November 22nd

Taking of Pelham 123, Angels and Demons, The Mummy. Just couldn't resist those $5 deals. And if you were interested in Target's 2tb Elements hard disk but wasn't able to get up for it, Amazon's price of $89.99 is pretty good, around $12 more than Target's price if you consider tax. So good enough deal for me.

Down to the wire on Pelham and SPR--90+% claimed for both. If you want either, time to get off the fence.
