Different model. The 370 doesn't do 3D like the 470.

You're right. I totally spaced out and thought they were shipping the 370 which was the 3D model. I guess I should open my box I got about 2 weeks ago to remind myself there's a 470 inside. I'm going to use it to replace a Philips BD player that works just fine except randomly (maybe once every 3 movies) it'll just turn itself off or pause in the middle of a movie.

Well I guess my codes worked after all.

I picked up Fantasia at TRU tonight and just input the code. Got a message saying that I'm one step closer towards big savings on a Blu-ray player... meaning, I presume, that I only have one more code to enter. Guess I should have picked up another SA while I was there.

Hope I can get another code in time.

Just received my player and wanted to confirm that it is the BD-S470. Great price for a 3D ready player. I also picked up the Sony USB Wifi adapter so my son can watch Netflix in his room. Merry Christmas!

It states this each time you put in an eligible code no matter how many more titles you need in order to get the player, if I remember correctly. If you want to confirm how many you still need you may want to give DMR a call.

That is correct. Finally got in on this deal this past Friday. $74.98 shipped. Can't wait for this to come. Hopefully it will be shipped out soon!

Picking up another SA wouldnt have done you any good, if you had allready entered one SA. You can only enter each title in once for points or towards the promotion

How long has it taken for them to ship usually?

Also, has anyone's Beauty and the Beast bonus charms from October ship yet?

Looking back in the thread, some people have received their player in as little as nine days from date of order.

I ended up picking up the adapter from Amazon for $65. Setup was a snap and we were up and running within a couple minutes. It actually took longer to plug it in and connect it to the TV than it did to hook it up to the wireless network.

Is there some sort of specific adapter you're supposed to use? I saw all sorts of USB adapters for around $15.

yes, you have to use the original Sony one. Others will most probably not work.

I was going to get it. Not having Wifi I can put a cable in it. But its needs to play AVI/Divx movies. I have alot of movies that we watch over the network.

I entered 5 codes but there's no offer. I'm not sure what went wrong. The 5 I entered are all among the ones listed.

Looks like the offer is over. It is no longer listed under "Special Offers" and banners no longer appear on any of the pages where I used to see it before (on the right-hand side).

I was one blu-ray away from meeting the requirement.

Message on DMR's Facebook page:

The response to our Blu-ray Player offer was tremendous, and we're glad so many of you participated. However, supplies were limited and we have now run out. We urge you to check often with our web site and emails as we're always looking for great deals for our members.

Ooops! I should have proof read better. I meant "a copy of SA", not "another SA"... which I did pick up tonight.

Unfortunately, my interpretation of the message saying I was "one step closer to the BR player" was off. I got the same message after inputing the code for SA.

After pondering things for a bit and checking my total points, I realized the codes for TS3 and B&B BRs weren't showing up. I am certain I had input them sometime after Nov 15. After re-inputting them I was qualified for the player, so I ordered it and got the confirmation email within minutes.

The confirm said it might take between 6 to 8 weeks to arrive, but considering how quickly some here have reported getting theirs, I'm hoping mine gets here before Christmas.

It'll be a little something extra for the wife... to go with the Target exclusive SE Eclipse BR she has waiting for her already.

Wow! That was close.

After posting the above reply, the previous three posts appeared. My confirm email arrived at 8:49pm, Dec 6. It looks like I may have just made the deadline and gotten one of the last available players. Hopefully, I won't get an email saying my order can't be fulfilled and is cancelled.

I'm hoping the same thing. I just got in on this deal Friday. I just checked my order status and it still says "Pending".

I know when the signed Frog and Princess posters were the hot item, they confirmed a bunch and then canceled... Good Luck..

Where exactly did you check to see your status? Can you check somewhere online? I just got an e-mail confirming the shipment of the Tinker Bell charm bracelet that I ordered minutes before the BD player. But, all of the recent posts have me nervous. I ordered mine on Thursday.

Yes, where do you check order status?
