DMR Anniversary Blu Rays

I just got the email for my anniversary, but when I entered the code on the website it does nothing and gives me no option to order one of the blu rays. I tried to enter it again, but it said I already redeemed the code. I looked at my history and sure enough it shows "Happy Anniversary 2010 0 Nov-01-2010"

Any idea how I can place this order?

I'd like to know the same thing.

The exact same thing happened to me, the code shows as redeemed on my account but I never even got to pick. Change the thread title to Disney Movie Rewards, who is going to know what DMR means.

Had no problems ordering one in October. I'd suggest sending an e-mail to them. I'm sure it's relatively easy to fix.

I had the exact same issue this morning. I've been trying to figure it out for the last hour, to no avail. Thanks for starting this thread! We'll get to the bottom of it now.

I was kinda disappointed to see there's also a shipping cost of $5. Suddenly went from "Sweet! A free movie" to $5 for some blah titles: Eight Below, Chicken Little or The Rookie.

Used mine today. Crappy selection, as Bubster said, but maybe I can gift it.

After I entered the code, it registered, but I could not redeem the code. I came back an hour later and was able to redeem the code for the movie. I was annoyed when I came upon the $4.99 shipping charge, but with a 6-year old boy who is majorly obsessed with sports right now, I figured The Rookie BD was a decent grab for $5 for us to watch together, so I snagged that. Otherwise, not a great promotion.

Redeem how? What page shows up on your account? Whenever I put the code in now, it says the code has already been redeemed.

Earlier in the year, they had Enchanted as one of the selections for the Birthday blu-ray offer. They must've run through their stock, I guess.

I finally got it to work. I had to log out of my account and log back in. The offer will be under "unlocked offers" in the My Points section.

This is different, this is for your "anniversary" of when you join. There are only 3 tiitles to choose from based on the e-mail I received about the promotion coming up. Odd that the shipping is that much, if I recall for the B-day it was only $2.99 if I remember correctly.

Re: DMR Anniversary Blu Rays

Out of curiosity, for those who have gotten their anniversary offer of these 3 exciting BD titles, did you receive the email exactly on your anniversary date or does Disney "batch" them together once a month or a week (i.e. only on the first of each month)? I never kept track of my anniversary date and there's no way for me to find it out, so I don't know when to expect/hope for my email. If the emails only come out on certain dates, that would be helpful to know. Yes, $4.99 for a "free" BD is not that great, but I suppose I'd pay that much for Chicken Little BD if I saw it in a store. I already have The Rookie and Eight Below on DVD.

It is sent out the first day of your anniversary month.

No idea, but if you hunt around the site there is a "Contact Us" page. Of course, I ended up solving the problem on my own before ever getting a response.

They quit the birthday deal. The anniversary deal is relatively new (started in October, I believe). There was a condition to receiving the offer. You had to enter a certain number of codes within the past year to qualify. I think it was 3 codes, but someone else could correct me.

It was one blu-ray code. I remember because I had to ask a family member for a blu-ray code so I could qualify on my second account.

I have two accounts. The first one, which is the one I enter all my codes in, never gets anything. The second one, which I've only ever gotten enough to trade in for one dvd, gets everything.

You are not the only one.
I didn't get any offers like that either, and I bought every single Disney Animated films - few of them more than once (except for direct to video and CG film thats not Pixar)

Granted, I never really visited the site much except to enter the code, but never noticed any offer like that.

My memory was that it was 2 codes within the last year (I don't think they specified calendar year or 12 month window). I doubt I could find where I read that, but I checked my accounts to make sure I had entered 2 codes... saw that I had in April (and I entered another recently for some points) and decided I was OK until at least January.

Of course my problem is I have no idea when my anniversary was, so I have no idea when to expect the email to know if they forgot to send mine.

You're right. I found my original email:

"- You may already qualify if you have entered at least 2 Magic Codes from eligible Disney Blu-ray discs or DVDs in the last 12 months. If you haven't, there's still time – simply enter 2 or more Blu-ray™ or DVD Magic Codes by 10/31/2010 to take advantage of this special offer.
- Once qualified you'll receive an email during your anniversary month to claim your FREE* Blu-ray."

I must have just borrowed a blu-ray code because they had one. :D

Re: DMR Anniversary Blu Rays

Uhoh. I forgot about the 10/31/10 date until Itzaright reminded me. While my account (on which I don't know my anniversary date) has its 2 codes before 10/31, I just realized the 2nd account we have in this household (another family member) does not have 2 codes. Somehow I had thought that as long as you entered 2 codes before your anniversary month, you'd get it.

So I guess I'm screwed on getting the offer on the 2nd account (whose anniversary date I happen to know is March)?

You can go into the My DMR tab and see every point you've ever earned. My earliest was 10 February 2008, when I submitted Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3 and The Little Mermaid, and took a survey. I can't say definitively, but I'm pretty sure I registered that day so my anniversary month is likely February.

Re: DMR Anniversary Blu Rays

MinLShaw, checking my point history was the first thing I did and my oldest code was entered on 12/31/07. It's possible but hard to believe I joined on exactly the last day of the year, so knowing me I signed up sometime before then... how soon I'll never know since I kept poorer records back then.

Does anyone remember when the DMR program started (i.e. the earliest anyone could sign up)?

It looks like I joined (my earliest points are dated) March 10, 2007.
