I got my order of 15 in yesterday...I never recieved a email from WB after I ordered initially. I must say though overall I was pleased with the process, the discs were well packed and all arrived in mint condition.

Despite how long the wait was, it sure was nice getting a big box of shiny new blu rays after sending them a bunch of useless worthless hot crap dvds.
I love this promotion.

One thing I goofed up on was not noting which DVDs I sent. I tossed out the cases and now I don't know which ones to remove from my collection lists. It's probably time for me to do complete inventory anyways. Sigh.

Received my eight BDs this week....they used a crappy way over-sized padded envelope that was slightly torn and quite dirtied up (shipped UPS Ground) but luckily all eight inside were fine and undamaged....not a bad deal in the end, even with the month and half wait time....

Misery loves company... I still haven't figured out everything that was stolen, but even now and then I discover I'm missing another title I know I had, and add it to the list. The OOP ones hurt the most...

My 17 titles from my first order arrived today. All accounted for and in great shape. My second order of five more will hopefully arrive about a week later.

I still haven't sent in my DVD2BLU order from November 11th! I know people said there wasn't a time limit, but there has to be one at some point. Every time I see a new post here I keep telling myself I've got to dig out several junk DVDs and send them in before my order expires, but then I get sidetracked with other stuff.
Last I read here the "any DVD" trade-in was back in effect and I think free shipping over $35 is still available, so I'm tempted to try placing a fresh order with the same titles (minus a couple I no longer want plus a few more) and just forget about the 1st order. I think they only count pending/in-process orders against your 25 rather than count 25 over your account's lifetime, so it should work.
Does anyone think doing this would be a bad idea?

Naw, I had to pay the $6.95. But I was eager to trade in my Planet Earth and Matrix series before the offer disappeared, so I just ordered a whole bunch to water down the individual shipping cost. I went with 12 items, for a total of $.57 cents shipping each.

I was hoping to do it in the reverse order... place the new order and then cancel the old one, or just never send in the old one (hopefully it will self-cancel like Best Deny's in store pickups you don't pick up). The key is I've got to make sure the "any DVD" and free shipping over $35 promos are in effect. Any time I cancel an order without placing the replacement first, I'm afraid the deal will end before I place the new order and I'll wish I'd kept the original order.

I received The Fugitive, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, The Shining, and The Reaping today. It only took a little over two weeks, and I sent them absolute junk.

Re: $4.95 Blu Rays at DVD2Blu
Just so I'm clear on this: I can send ANY retail DVD? or does it need to be from Warners Bros?
and why are they doing this deal? how do they benefit from being sent my shitty movies from another distributor? do they plan to resell the DVDs without the cases?

Re: $4.95 Blu Rays at DVD2Blu
It doesn't even need to be playable as almost all the ones I sent it were defective or scratched to hell.
They apparently recycle the DVDs. I'm sure they get a tax break or something by doing this.

And at $4.95 each, I'm sure Warner is still making some money. DVDs and BDs aren't expensive to produce. I don't know the amount for BDs but I'd be surprised if it were over $3 each. If they have overstock, then this helps clear them out.
