Totally agree!

Interesting to see though that if you preorder TS3 and Mater's Tall Tales it takes $2.50 off each and Mater is $20 instead of $25. So, can one assume that if you preorder both and return TS3 you end up getting Mater for $17.49?

I agree with Sotra agreeing with you. It's worse than YMMV, it's a virtual 99.9% guaranteed failure (at least for me). I haven't been able to use any coupon on a sale item at Best Buy for years, and if you do manage to have it it's only if you run across a nice/sympathetic employee who isn't afraid to override the price manually.

I'm not a Silver member (and never will be), but I got a flyer in the mail with a lot of coupons in November, including a 30% off REGULARLY PRICED Blu-Rays for regular-old RZ members. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to find a regularly priced title that's acceptable to me after 30%, but who knows. At least I know enough not to waste my time trying to combine the 30% off with an $8 manufacturer coupon and the TS3 promos/sale prices because there's no way that would work at my stores. At best you could use the $8 off coupon. I'll be going to Target for my TS3 anyway to avoid the obligatory Best Deny hassle.

There's a number of Lionsgate titles on sale for $7.99 and $9.99 in store. A lot of stuff that's been on sale before, but a few I noticed:

7.99
Rambo: Uncut
Monster Squad
Employee of the Month
Crank
Forbidden Kingdom

Could be. But don't they charge you full price when you return something in a bundle sale?

Did anyone happen to notice today if their store had the Boardwalk Empire HBO Sampler DVD out? I went to mine and they had the sign for it but no copies. I figured it might not be in stock until Tuesday with The Pacific.

I went today and they had them out, they are in a slim dvd case and they cost 99 cents if you just buy it alone.

I was wondering if anybody ( was able to use ) is going to be able to use this 30% off coupon on V steelbook. I was going to try it tomorrow but my local BBY ran out of steelbook copies.

Well, seems like BBy's new way of pricing bundles worked out good for me. Preordered for instore pickup TS3, Mater tales and TS3 ironpack. Returned TS3 and was left having paid $17.49 for Mater

Re: Bestbuy Media Prices (October 31 - November 6, 2010)

The 30% off code worked on TS3 combo pack so $17.49 + Tax (and $8 less if you use the coupon which I did as well). The coupon is limit 3 and the BB employee had to enter the code 3 times in order for 30% discount to work on the other 2 movies I puchased. Since it worked for TS3, it might work for Scott Pilgrim which I picked up at local Wal-Mart this morning for $24.96.
